since I found this wonderful group of folks here , one person has definateley stood out as the go to guy when you've needed parts , so why let that end ?

yea so does that have to end ? can't Daves still be Appleton's rep here ? with his knowledge and enthusiasm for buells , who would you rather deal with ?

is there new buell guy going to be what Daves been ? and in starting up his new buisness I'm sure he could use a lil side income .

hey i'd gladly forgo any discount on parts for being able to order them from someone that had a clue about buells .

hey like i said , just a beer induced idea :-)

There is one guy I think you should check out, and that is Josh Cox, he is one of our sponsors. He has done a great job for me as well as quite a few other customers.

Look him up if you need something. You won't be disappointed.

There will be others that will step up to the plate I'm sure.

There's Bud from Hals HD, Clown from Stone Mountain, Josh from Cycle Connection.

While there are some big shoes to fill in Daves absence, I think those guys may be able to pull it off : )

While I certainly can't speak for Dave, but starting a small business, and trying to make it successful will take more time than most people think.

Woody,
Thank you for the thought.
I did consider that.
But, with me starting my own business and the amount of Buell business I do, that isn't really possible.
It would take all of my time and more to take care of the Buell end of it, leaving me no time to build my business. I am afraid that both would suffer by not having my full attention, time and effort.

I do appreciate the thought though.

There are other fine sponsor dealers and businesses here already that I am sure will be happy to have your business.

I had Appleton interview a friend/customer of mine on Weds that i think would do a great job for all of you. I am going to push for them to hire him. If that happens I will introduce him to all of Badweb,my factory connections and he will always have my cell # to call me with any questions or concerns. I will help him for as long as he needs or wants it. He is a good guy and I already had him in mind to hire.
I will make sure he knows that if he ever lets any of you down i will drive back to Appleton and slap the crap out of him(he is half my age and an ex Marine, I might need help)!

No need to jump off the Appleton ship yet.
I'll keep you posted.
