we are going to be in a meeting until 8:30 at least.
That's why I figured 9
Maybe he knows some will be late, so he is telling you to be there early.
I have a hunting partner like that.
If I want to actually leave town at 5:00, I tell him 4:30

I'm more concerned about where we are meeting. Which convention center are you talking about?

No, you guys are gathering at the dealership as FTD planned.
He is coming to the convention center to pick us up.
Shazam is going to be there, at the convention center also. That's why I told him to meet us out front at 9.
sorry for the confusion

Roger - it's just when you said meeting at the convention center and Orlando, I was thinking of the Orlando Convention Center up here on International Drive. That's why I was getting really confused.

See ya Monday

Dang...I go to Las Vegas this week for the World of Concrete convention and come home to this surprise on the BadWeb! Like many others have said, "Say it ain't so!"

Really, though, good luck on your new adventure. You will be great in that industry too!

Good Luck Dave,

If you treat your new customers with the same level of service as your Buell followers then you WILL succeed.

Hey now that you may be able to get away you should plan a hunting trip to the island?

I know you would love it here. I would also throw in a Buell to ride when not in the woods.

Already book marked it so we can keep up with your progress! Hate to see you leave Buell, but happy that you have other passions that give you this opportunity. Most of all, I'm happy that you will be home with Kandie and the pups. Not many people could have done what you two have done for the past 3 years and survived.

I remember, some time ago, reading about the the things SuperDaves was doing so that we could all share in the great things he has to offer. From the long commute to work, living in two places, not seeing family, etc., it was a clue that he would likely not be providing the greatest Buell hook-ups forever.

I suppose I knew then, but was in denial until this thread popped up.

Dave, I wish you all the best in your new venture. You seem to be the type of person who will succeed in anything you set out to do, and I admire you for that(and the ability to get parts out supafast ).

Thank you, and good luck!

Tank

p.s. watch out for the taxman, he is one greedy bastard

"Hey now that you may be able to get away you should plan a hunting trip to the island?"

Get away? With starting a new business from scratch?
Baahahahahahahahahahahahah
Surely you are joking?

I would love to take you up on the offer someday though Newfie.

Tank,
I have a really good tax guy looking after me.

Daves,
I wish you all the success in your new venture and have no doubt you will be "The Daves of Archery" as someone already mentioned.
Rummage around on the following web site for some good ideas and such:
http://www.sherwoodforestbowmen.com/
On my day job I work next to one of the members there and hears lots of stuff about what they do with 3-D shoots, membership recruiting, big annual events, and such.

I think we may be needing an archery section on badweb here soon.

I wonder how many non bow hunting Badwebers are now considering taking up the sport just to continue their dealings with Dave?

You will be well missed Dave. You better keep posting here to let us know how things are going.

I'm sure there are dealers here who can replace you when it comes to getting parts & service but your personality is is 100% irreplaceable.

With Typeone's help this morning, I actually got it to load/publish correctly.
Don't be too hard on me, it's just the beginning and I have never built a website before.
