I usually deal with the guy with the pony tail, but I've dealt with them all.

Most everybody at the parts counter and out back in service seem to take a real interest in my Buell.

They have a TT at Ventura HD/ Buell in Southern California. I like the looks. It's different although I would change the front fender to the normal type. I guess that would make it just like my Ss only taller.

They have the Buells way in the back of the store with the used bikes. My wife noticed they had 3 or 4 more new Buells out side in the rain. They had pop up tents over the Harleys in the same row.

Go figure.

We had one coming, it is claimed before it hit the showroom floor. So much for my demo ride. We do demos, hell if the boss will let me, I will do a trail and follow and take you on a nice stretch of back road that is nothin but twisties for 6 miles , turn around and ride it back. I swear that is the funnest part of my job. How are you going to tell if you love it if you cant ride it ? Honestly, I don't understand. They are at our front door too, they are the first bikes that you see in the door, and they are the ones that leave a lasting impression in your mind as you leave. Product placement breeds sales, the grocery stores have been doing it for years.

I love the service dept. at Ventura but the sales floor is all Harley. They don't have anything Buell. The next closest dealer is Simi Valley. I think it's the same owner as Ventura. They have a Buell section with Carbon fiber, hats and shirts and I think jackets. Not a big section but they have one. I'll buy bikes at both but my first service at Simi was not good. Back 3 times before I got home. I think the tech was just promoted from the broom and mop crew.

Ceejay.....ride mine back and forth to work everyday during the summer and on errands on the weekends. I haven't ridden in bout a week now, Don't mind the cold (25 this morning) it is the icy snowy roads that bother me.

Wolf....in rereading your post....It was Terry that came up and talked to me.

I have seen only one other round town and weeble says it is a gal from gahanna. Yellow XB

I'm still up for getting a club started in Columbus. I have talked to Darris at Farrows, and he is willing to give us a space on Farrow's website and maybe a link to BadWeb. I hope to start getting some picks together and rides this summer. I am doing a track day at Nelson Ledges on June 18th, I will be leading a ride to Rolling Thunder that leaves on May 24th and I hope to make it to Homecoming. Plus MarchBadness goes without saying..

I won't be able to make it to Homecoming. I'll be going out West in August, and can't afford to take that much time off two months in a row.

If you guys do day rides on Sunday's, I'll be in 99% of the time.

I want to do the track day. I just hate how they require leathers. I have a fully armored textile suit, but they need me to rent their leathers, which I seriously doubt they have in my (small) size. But that deffenately won't stop me from going. I just have to decide if I'm going to Mid-Ohio alone, or Nelson Ledges with Buell Guys.

I would bet big bucks that they will have your size. The best racers are always "small"

Now if they have one that will fit my fat A$$

I know someone was talking about getting a group together, was that you wolf, if I ever get my bike finished enough to ride, hopefully I can get a few others together, I won't be going to homecoming though. I am going to try to get to one of the mid-ohio race dates this year and hopefully with a camp spot...

Yea Mike I'm pretty sure that they would have some smalls for you, if not they would have to be willing to make a concession and let you go with your stuff...

I have got some irons in the fire. Farrows gave me a list of all the Buell buyers for the last 3 years and I cold called everyone to start a BRAG Club. I have a small email list of about 20 people that I send ride info to. So far I have had "1" ride that people showed up for. It looks like it will be slow going for now. I just became a MSF and Riders Edge Coach so my time is going to be limited. But I would love to see a bunch of Buells in mass riding the roads around Columbus.

I've seen a few while riding, an all black cyclone, an all yellow cyclone, a black X1, a black blast, a white XB firebolt, and two blue XB S's just showed up here at work. That is about as many harley's as I see save for the weekend which is why I made the comment above about not seeing 10 to one harley's to buells. It looks like there are four right here...
