My local dealer let the cat out of the bag. The next "Freebie" from Buell will be a knit skull cap. Check the Buell.com site February 1st for details. Should be a link to print off a coupon and take down to your local dealership. How do I know this? Because the posters advertising the promotion are already up at my dealership, but there's nothing at the Buell website about this at all. I asked the rep at the Javits Show and she told me the dealer jumped the gun; the promotion starts in February. Meanwhile, I got a pretty cool looking T-Shirt from Buell at the show just for showing my ignition key. Shirts, hats, sling bags and knee pucks. If only Buell had a "Free pants give-away" I could finish my wardrobe! | ||

I usually get my news here first before I get it at my dealership. I saw the promo envelope in my sales manager's office the day before this thread came out, but he didn't open it. The sock hat, the discontinuation of the XB9R, the availability of the XBRR parts, and the XB12STT I all heard about here first. | ||

Actually, whenever I think "skull cap" I think "Yarmulke" but then again, I'm from Brooklyn. This really is more of a "tuque." If you don't know what that is, picture sitting around a fire cooking up some back bacon while drinking some beer, eh? |
