Interesting how slow the CityX is compared to EVERY other Buell. Looks at the City vs. the XB9R. It looks to me that they were testing a green example. Just an observation.

I find some of this info suspect...

Look at the numbers at the very bottom for the Yamaha YZF R1. Why would an '04 model completely destroy an '06 model. Not even remotely close. Test error or typo maybe?

Yeah, I know, I shouldn't have looked, forbidden fruit and all. Well maybe I could've looked but just not mentioned anything about it here in buell-land.

I was curious because a friend has an R1 and it is insanely ungodly otherworldy fast. I mean fast like light is fast. Faster then a drunken sailor on shore leave. I was just wondering what the 'hard' numbers were on his bike and noticed the discrepency between the '04 and '06 models.

Compared to an F-14, your friends R1 is a dog, a total joke, a door stop.

There will always be something faster. Ride the thing you want that does the things you need.

I think that Sportster with the 674hp has that special carburetor that we've been hearing about all these years. They just accidentally let it out of the factory. BTW, it also gets 150mpg.

I believe the discrepancy between some numbers is due to the fact that they use both Cycledyne and Dynojet dyno's for their stats.

Can someone tell me how a 750 Shadow with 41.4 hp can pull an 11.98@86.7 quarter mile? That's got to be wrong.
