That's awesome! Looks like you're having a great trip. I was in Malaysia last March for three weeks - family's from there, was my first trip there. By far, the best vacation in my life. I would have loved to have had a motorcycle while I was there. Have fun, and post more pics. -Heath |

Cool Buellgirlie, I rode a bicycle 250 miles from Singapore through Malaysia to Port Dickson. I will never forget that journey. Visited Corregidor while spending a summer in the mountains of Bagio City, Phillipines. Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia (Bali), Guam,...Savin' up for Europe! ya, malaysia was very cool, i was there for 5 days, and it was my first trip there. particularly interesting is the mix of ethnicities and religions. i didnt actually have a motorcycle while there, i just got to sit on one, though it was one with the royal motorcade port dickson? here's my "hut" from the avillion resort in port dickson malaysia for 2 nights! the water in the straits of malacca isnt as beautiful as i've seen elsewhere, but living in an over water hut was waaaaay coool. the tide came in and out about every 6 hours, unforunately, i either wasnt at the resort, or it was nighttime when the tide was in and the huts were surrounded by seawater. Very cool Dora! I'm more than a little jealous. How was communication over there? Easy to find English speakers, or do you speak the language of the locals? |

lucky is a good word. i'm very thankful for the chances i've been given and the outcomes i've received - though i do take more risks than most... thanks for the nice notes, D |

i'm fluent in mandarin chinese - which is local language in china and taiwan, and one of the primary languages in malaysia. english is more useful with the locals in the philippines, but my mandarin is useful there too. when you speak the 2 most spoken languages in the world - english and mandarin - its pretty easy D |
