can anyone believe that the KTM 950R super enduro has close to 100 horse and a top speed of around 138?? WHAT??? its an enduro, with nobbies!!
yes its light(for a street bike) 408 lbs dry, with a 6 speed tranny. But its also only 942cc.

i would be pissed if id seen some dude on a dirt bike passing me on the street!! Whats next, 140mph four wheeler?

yes the KTM(12,000) and the BMW HP2(21,000) are sweet bike in there own right, but what the hell? Come on Buell i hope you can trump a dirt bike for the 08' year!!

im beginning to think i should have kept this to myself!!

I'll sacrifice 10-20 MPH at the cost of riding something that looks good.

Is that thing really a "dirt bike" ? I'll take a good old fashioned CRF450R over that monster any day for my "dirt bike" needs.

Hey Americanmadexb, there is a quad that will do a claimed 140mph just read about it in the Jan issue of MCN.

Here is a pic of the Quad has a BMW K1200S motor in it. It is made by a company called Gruter+Gut it is a Swiss company. They previously where selling them with the 1150 motor but have updated to the more powerful motor for 07.

Isn't it silly that just about anywhere else in the world you can get a quad truly street legal, but we don't do it here in the States?

Actually, there are quite a few states you can make your quad street legal in. For one my brother inlaw did it because of gas prices. Didn't want to buy a bike. All he had to do was add a mirror and brake light. Pretty much the same as getting a custom bike street legal actually may even be easier.

That R1 Quad is the coolest bike I have ever seen (for the street). I want one!! Anyone have any idea where I could find some info on this one?

As for the enduro, that's the biggest engine I've ever seen in a dirt bike. Wow! These are some pretty nice toys. Still like my Buell, but I'm on the lookout for my next toy.

The best four wheeler to have pass you is from New Zealand. These fools are nuts. I have seen some cool hybrid projects but this is amazing.
