For me a Gator victory will be retribution for the travesty of OSU's victory over Miami in 2003 thanks to one of the worst officiating calls I've ever seen.

I didn't know Pop Warner gave out Heisman Trophies!

Once again that award is given in error.

"how do you drop in the rankings without playing?"

Just like that team up north fans to still be crying "Blue-Hoo",.....
If you can't win your conference you can't be national champs.

SEC is the most over-rated conferance yet,

Buckeyes will win by at least 15 points.

OH

quote:

You heard me right

The SEC is OVER-RATED !!!

Way over-rated, Several teams could have swept through there undefeated.

3 big-ten teams for sure

the OSU, that team up north, and Wisconsin

You can spell THAT anyway you freakin want

quote:

What are you smoking?

typical SEC fast ????

Did you see the way Wisconson beat up Ark ??? Didn't they end up the #2 SEC team? Where was that SEC speed ????

NO-ONE is faster than OSU's Ted Ginn,...
NO-ONE

the OSU QB Troy Smith is THE FASTEST QB in football, the talk of SEC speed is weak !!

perhaps if you really truly believe that FLA will beat OSU you would care to place a wager ??? hmmm... ???
say maybe $5 per point ?
maybe something else ?????

let me know if you're willing to back up your "opinion"

Let's see, un-ranked Big Ten school rolls over nationally ranked SEC school.

Will never spit Go Gators but give respect where it's due
The SEC came to play...
just what happened to you?
What are you smoking?

Boise was the one who got the short end of the stick...only undefeated team, smoked everyone on their schedule, including the team they were supposed to "lose" to in the Fiesta Bowl.

And now the other unbeaten (but now beaten) team makes us wonder if their record was a fluke...I really think Boise stood a chance of winning the title, it's too bad no one gave them a shot.

I'm not saying Boise would have beaten the Gators. All I'm saying was they deserved a shot, and judging by Ohio's pathetic performance, they probably would have given FL a much better game.

Of course the only way Boise would have gotten into the title game was if FL wasn't there. So my argument is sorta moot, because Boise would've played Ohio, not FL.

But if they did play Ohio, they might've won. And Boise has the only perfect record now, so it looks pretty crappy that they didn't get a shot....

Does any of this make sense, or do I need to shut up and go back to my hole? :c)

I don't think Boise St. should be national champs. And unless they move to a power conference, they probably won't even get a chance at a national champ. They don't just play the stonger teams often enough if you ask me.

If there was a playoff system, it would provide a clear example of why if you ask me. Given the month they had to prepare for Oklahoma, I feel they could beat anybody with the right game plan and things falling their way in that one game. But if they play another game in 7 days (USC, Florida, Louisville, or LSU, who are the other BCS game winners) I don't think they would stand a chance with just one week to prepare.

Not taking anything away from Boise st., they are still a great team, but I don't think they are the best team. Just my thought.

I don't contend to know anything about Boise St other than the previous game. I am gonna bet their fans do not travel like Ohio States, Michigans, Floridas or Notre Dame....That is the reason they will not be in the championship game.

It is all about the Cash my friend.

I think OSU would have played better if they played until the same weekend that Florida did. Almost 3 weeks more rest means 3 weeks more rust.

everybody's season should end the same weekend.

It also means 3 more weeks to prepare, face it, they got manhandled.
Besides their coach said before the game that it was not an issue and that they were ready to play.
