The scary part is currently there are 26 people out there that want that bike. Not my cup of tea either. |

I kinda "cut my teeth" on choppers back in the day. (cut some other stuff, too, but managed to heal up pretty much OK) I like some of the customs out there...but - Those bikes are just plain hideous! What are these people thinking? Fortunately there's a few people still building MOTORCYCLE-themed motorcycles! Erik Buell, for instance. Just my (probably worthless) opinion - AL |

Dear god there were two of those monstrosities (one "german" and this one) Those OCC morons have spread the "I've got a custom chrome catalog, so I'm a custom bike builder" around this country and others for too long. Style for the sake of style is ok, but that is very dependent on it being GOOD style. If you have no taste, you should not be involved in designing....anything. |

Hehehe, on the Messerschmitt auction, the main picture is "flipped" so that the primary is on the right side, instead of the left side, where it belongs. All I can say is, I hope these are being auctioned off for some charity, but the charity would have done better if the bikes were nicer.... |

We all live in a chopper world, all roads are straight and gas stations at every corner and bike mech every two corners(hopefully for them), and least of numb bum!! |

Consumers continue to consume. As long as there are idiots willing to pay gawd knows how much for what is basically "art", then there are wiser idiots more than willing to separate them from their cash. Me, I'm just glad someone has enough disposable income to keep this flimsy ass economy rolling. Albeit in poor taste, but rolling nonetheless. |

This is the reason to wear ALL YOUR GEAR ALL THE TIME! Just imagine riding down the road on your Buell. Enjoying the corners, big grin on your face, then BAM..... You see this ridiculous 'bike' cruising up the street. Rider adorned in a brown leather cap with a bomber jacket and scarf, looking much like the guy on the Red Baron pizza boxes. Does anyone believe they could maintain control of their bike through the fit of laughter that would overtake them? |

How many of you are amazed when you see a horrible product or idea and know that it was approved by at least a group of people? I don't know if that was the case with this abomination labeled chopper, but oh, wait, it's G Gordon Liddy's. That explains it. That camouflage is crap. Looks like it was done with spay paint. |

it's amazing if your over by the rats hole bike show, during bike week, when everyone is bringing in their bikes and half of them are parked around the corner taking them off the trailers. that's probably all the further that they can ride those things without it killing their backs and destroying their kidneys. |

Hey, I like it... ... just kidding. I think ol' G. Gordon is in the beginning stages of demntia, and no one around him has the balls to tell him... or stop him, apparently. |

I guess this is one way to try to distract people from remembering Watergate. |

Yea, he was the right hand man to the "Former Pres.Richard(Dick)M. Nixon. And remembering his old radio show, that was the body part he liked to brag about the most.(Liddy that is) Aside from the bragging, sometimes an interesting fellow........Charlie |

Silly is as silly does. Notice the bid history here: http://tinyurl.com/yyf3gw eBay no longer allows us to see who is bidding, all bidders are assigned one up anonymous identifications and only the buyer and seller can see the bidder I.D. That's going to be a real shot in the arm for shill bidding. It used to be that other bidders could spot shill bidders and turn them in to eBay, now they can no longer do that. But it's going to save the eBay fraud team a lot of work. They used to be busy as hell totally ignoring 99.99% of the reports of shill bidding, now they won't get any more reports. JBQ you hit it right on the head! eBay could give a sh*t less about shill bidders and the phony feedback artists that seem to overwhelm the site. They are interested only in the profit end of it and to hell with the technicalities, and the people who get screwed! |
