Man I missed my calling. Tonight's episode involved blowing up turkeys just for grins and making mentos/coke powered toys. Where can I get a job like that? Everyone should get to be paid to blow stuff up just once in life. Anyone else like that show? I also get a kick out of the American Choppers show (soon to be on TLC). Those Tuttle knotheads crack me up. Though I don't understand the chopper thing, they do make some nice pieces of art. Anyway, Stuntjunkies is on...gotta go. Discovery Channel rules! Now if they'd just make a show about the BadWeber's antics, we'd be in business. |

You mean everybody doesn't get paid to blow stuff up? I know a place that'll help you out with that:
LOUD PIPES TAKE LIVES. |

You mean Mortarman doesn't refer to your affinity for cement? |

I'm still looking for a bike mounted "Dip-Shit" seeking missile for those special occasions! |

Wouldn't you need something more along the lines of a cluster bomb for "Dip-Shits". They tend to travel in flocks around here. |

Rag -- buddy o mine and I tried designing an idiot seeking missle, years ago -- we gave it up when we realized we could not possibly have a magazine big enough on a bike target rich environment |

flechettes come to mind http://matrix.dumpshock.com/raygun/ammo/shotgun/fl echette.html Even with a variant half the size and weight of military rounds it would be effective. They are light, can be tightly packed, and will take out tires and exposed flesh quite easily. 2 launchers the size of a shot gun shell or smaller on each corner of the bike would do the trick. that's 8 shots, about enough for the average city commute. |

Mortarmanmike, is that an M-252 81mm? That last pic looks like a Stryker. My roomate is a 11C, he loves riding the base plate when the they fire thier first round. The impacts are the best part if you are calling the rounds in. A few adjusting rounds, then a Fire For Effect is just the best way to relieve stress. We started a fire at Fort Indiantown Gap once with 155mm WP rounds, myself and SSgt Thompson utilized HHC and B Co 120mm mortars to put the fire out. It was awesome. We set up a linear target, adjusted the spread, and two FFE. Fire was put out, Range Control bought us a case of beer haha. Artillery is great, but Mortars are the King! Brian |

Brian, no, the top three pics are from a 120mm. The last is from a stryker, probably 120 as well. I got those pics from the net, usually when we're shooting I'm a LITTLE busy. hmmm, never used a mortar to put OUT a fire. Have started many though. Me riding the baseplate
They may be fun to call in, but they're a blast to shoot.
Merry Christmas, Thunder Xray, out. |

We are becoming a Stryker Brigade Combat Team, I must say the transition is a bit rough with all the new digital equipment. Back to Mythbusters, my favorite episode is when they do the plug the shotgun barrel with finger tip myth. I could not believe the abuse that shotgun took, and still did not explode! Merry Christmas to all, and a Safe New Year. Paxton 32 Blackhawk, out. |

I like the episode where they tried to launch the gas cylinder like a rocket. The penny gun was cool too but I haven't seen that many episodes. |
