I realize that Thanksgiving has passed quite some time ago, but I've got to give thanks to a few Badweb members who have recently helped me out a great deal!

1. A real big thanks goes out to DOON!
Pat is primarily responsible for restoring a pulse to my PC, and getting me back online. He obtained all the stuff I needed to fix me up and then he burned a "fix" onto a CD and FED-EX'd it to me at no cost. That's what I call going out of your way! Thanks a million Pat, I owe you big time!

2. Mikexlr650, for hooking me up with Doons number, and for the Michelin tire. I swapped out the rear tire on wednesday and I've been re-gaining my balls more & more each day. Deep down inside I was a little skepticle about it being the tire. I kinda thought it might be me, but with each day that I ride it, it becomes more obvious that there was an issue with that Conti. I hit 218 today and that Pilot Power makes the bike feel like it is PLANTED!! Thanks!!

3. Mortarmanmike. Thanks for your business, and thanks for getting that bracket back to me this week! I got it just in time to modify & get it back out to the next "chain gang member" Thanks, and enjoy!

4. Garyl. Thanks for your order, your kit left yesterday. If you have any questions just give me a shout.

Thanks Guys, and have a Happy Holiday Season!

Fritz

Eric, I called you at the number you left.

My DSL/email server is currently unable to get me my email, so I was unable to receive your PM.

I've since changed the email addy associated to this site, so all future PM's should go to my alternate and functional email.

Anyway, I'll try to call you again tomorrow at the number you left. Or you can try to reach me on my mobile phone, the number is: (845) 591 3930

Thanks,
Fritz

been wondering about that tire. good to hear it had a positive effect, even with the low ambient temps.
might need your help, i pulled that supercharger pulley off of the miata and i can't get the bearing out. it looks to be encased inside the plastic of the pulley(how'd they get it in there?). may have to borrow a few minutes on your press.

wait till you get a proper matching pilot on the front end, it should really feel good then! did the new rear tire have any affect on the feel of the steering?

Glad to hear the tire was the issue. Hate to say I told ya so but.....

Saw ya riding into work the other day (flashed lights at ya) was goin to stop but had to get home and then off to court. Good to see ya riding the bolt again

Ebay has a few sets of pilot powers (both original and ct,s) right now that are a great deal, you may want to snatch one up for the Dragon trip.

Have a safe one all and be carefull if your out riding and or driving around as the drunks seem to be really bad this year.

Peace out from the Ghetto.

thats why were staying so close to march badness instead of the dragon. we're close enough to walk(stumble) back to our cabin(7/10 of a mile).

can you picture a couple of drunk yankees trying to find their way through a 100 miles of dark georgia mtns at 2am. we'd be lost, drunk, probably arrested but definitely having a great time!

and hammer would be layin in the grass laughing holding up a city of newburgh police patch mumbling incoherently as the flashing lights approach. the rest of us would be pi$$ing ourselves at the thought of a "free" nights stay with georgia's finest.
we'd be lost, drunk, confused, then suddenly sober as we saw the sign "deliverance 2 miles"!

Fritz, glad I could help. Was no problem at all. Glad the the cd and hopefully those instructions worked out for you. Was almost going to give you a call later on today when I got home from work, but figured no gnus was good gnus.

JLB, Having ridden with Hammer, I am not sure there is enough beer in the world to make him prettier... As for more interesting.. well that is going to be a sight to see.

If is wasn't for all this damn freezing rain , maybe I could get some riding in. Hmm wonder how hard it would be to strap presents to the lightning, supposed to be decent tomorrow.

Happy Holidays all,
-patrick

Mike so far so good, but you know how pregnant ladies can be. I would be looking to travel down with you guys, and if I go will probably be borrowing my Dad's frontier, so I would have another truck, and could probably take one more bike besides mine in the back. But in regards to the big event (Leslie's due date is Friday July 13th), a lot can change between now and then. But I really want to go as between it and homecoming it might be my last hurrah for a while.

Merry Christmas to youze Hudson Valley and NEBO crews. I'm thankful for the friendships i've made with both groups.I ride almost weekly now/w NEBO and never felt this camaraderie before. To think,i was considering a Retreads membership when i recently turned 40.They're good though,my parents rode with them for decades.

Oh yeah, remind me to tell you the story sometime of the Martini's with the 'Lunchbox.I don't get drunk,i wander off.

yep my first. Just got down scanning our first ultrasound. My wife has plenty of experience with kids, since she has been raising me for the last 12 years, and I am just starting to grow up (Well not really, but I tell her that I am : ) )

from what i cant tell, the best thing about kids is that you get grandkids. this seems to the point of the whole exercise. at least from my observations with my own family.
my stoic german parents have somehow turned into these soft gushy people that are completely different from the ones who raised me. i guess i may have been a problem? ;)

fritz,
first off, thanks for the x-mass pulley. my neighbor has that inflatable santa on a chopper thing, didn't realize it was real. too funny for santa to show up on a chopped blue pan!
if it's alright with you at some point i need to stop by and use your drill press. made a few practice runs in wood and there is no way i can ream that bushing while staying straight enough.
my guess is that if is off even a hair the belt will run out of alignment when the boost comes up. any alignment issues and the belt wears out real fast.
