Heres what I see. The styling on the outside is really nice and tasteful. The inside comfortable and much better then a 4Runner by far. The interior options are alot for the money. Engine 260 hp in a SUV isn't bad and gas mileage is better then Toyota. Price... My 4Runner ran me almost 34G in 2002. This truck (Nitro RT) will cost me about 30G loaded to the gills. | ||

I really like the new Mustangs! Daves, I meant it when I said I was very Pro-Chrysler. The thought of owning Ford or GM would never have entered my mind. But this car is THAT GOOD. It is so nice, especially for the money, relatively speaking. I have owned the Mustang for almost seven months and still can't believe that I bought it. But I also still smile every time I look at it, and smile even more when behind the wheel. I'm sure I will smile just as much when I am in position to buy my Buell from you. If you recall, it almost happened around last X-mas (I wanted the CA XB9R but the insurance scared me away), but it will still happen. Bads1, I didn't know Nitros (or is it Nitri?) could cost that much. Is the $30G loaded before or after your Chrysler Group discount? | ||

I've never been entirely biased for or against a certain make of car/truck, but here's some quick food for thought: I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota with, get this, 194,000 miles. The only thing replaced: transmission. The only thing broken: reverse lights (wiring problem). I'm sure there are Dodges that haven't lived half as long. But to me, a truck with an insane amount of mileage, and minimal issues along the way, is a credit to the manufacturing quality of that brand. | ||

well put spive, i have a 96 tacoma, the list of mechanical and electronic failures is too long to go into. problems began on the way home from the dealer. it wasn't the problems themselves that became the issue but the attitude of toyota itself. the regional manager told me that toyota does not have recalls (yeah, they issue technical service bulletins that protect them and blow off the customers). it seemed that since they did have fewer problems overall they did not have a decent system for handling them when they arose. at one point i had been calling the presidents office every day for about 4 months (trucks was disabled, 2 years old) when i stumbled upon voluntary arbitration. magic words had been found. it all came down to attitude, they were very combative. i really do think they build great products but their corporate culture believes their own advertising. | ||

I have a 2004 Dodge that I have viciously abused for 50,000 miles with absolutely no problems. My wife's Japanese cars (two in that period) have had way more problems. The old story of Chrysler is like the Buell tube frame story on quality. Been there, fixed that. Now maybe people won't get their minds changed by facts, but the facts are there. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Chrysler product. | ||

I have had Mopars pretty much my whole driving life... had an 88 dodge ram, never gave me one single problem (just got wrapped around a concrete thruway light one crappy day. Plymouth Sundance...very inexpensive car, nothing fancy, it earned it's keep, no problems with it either. Mitsubishi eclipse (same car as the plymouth Laser) very reliable, had no problems with it aside from broken AC 99 dodge ram diesel - this is what I drive now..have had it since 2000...never had any problems aside from routine things.. it's a big heavy truck and every repair is an easy 600+ dollars...but the truck now has almost 140k on it, and still runs great.. broken AC also.. I'm a mopar girl, all the way...I would, however, wait until the nitro has been out for one model year, before I bought it... it's a nice truck... GOOD LUCK!!! | ||

Angel...a women after my own heart...MOPAR!!I love them!  I still have my 87 Ram, NO problems at all and have had it 10yrs now. It plows my driveway every year with no complaints. Just sold my 1997 dodge diesel dually 4x4 as I needed an x-cab, no big problems with this dodge monster either.always ate tires up though.. I ran it hard also...propane injected....which resorts back to tire also. I also have a 1999 dodge 2500 4x4 5 spd. diesel ex. cab. man WE have Good Taste! Just picked it up not to long ago. 148,000 and still running strong as hell!!! just ordered an ez-chip for it. I Need The POWER! I will admit they are x-pensive to fix and I do all my own work on them. parts are big $$$ for the diesel and heavy duty trucks.. My wifey has the 2002 durango that is am excellent ride also. IT gots the big 5.9 liter gas guzzlin motor and i love it! These run 4:10 gears which make the gas milage suck but boy it moves out it's own way! real comfortable on long hauls w/ the kids and baggage. only needed tires(go figure..story of my life)  in the 3 years I have owned it. | ||

My wife thought i lost my mind last spring when i sold my pride & joy juiced up camaro. And went out and bought a Ram 1500 four door w/6 foot bed. I absolutly love my truck. The only thing i'll do different next time is i'll buy the 2500 diesel. | ||

and I drove one (2006) yesturday, MAN THAT RIDES LIKE A DREAM TOO those softer shocks really help the ride. Plus the dealer said the wheels are spacific for that truck, kind of like a bead lock, I AM GOING TO THE MOUNDS THIS YEAR BOYS!!! WHOO HOOO. I have to wait to get the black one until after x-mas but I CAN'T WAIT!!! but it shall be mine, oh yes it shall be mine. I love the Power Wagon, wish it came with a Cummins. Very sharp and...tall. I'm due to upgrade my 1/2-ton Ram in three more years, but I have spousal clearance to keep it and buy a Challenger. The Ram is only getting about 10k miles a year, or less, thanks to the Buell. So it should be good for quite a while. Hopefully I'll be moving up to the farm next year, so I won't that much hauling back and forth to do anyway, and the 1/2-ton truck is adequate for my towing needs. I can hardly wait for the Challenger. Bill | ||
