I was just looking around at the Harley dealer in Lewiston. I had no plans to buy anything. When I left I was the proud owner of an 06 FXDBI. You let Jackbequick stay so I think I will stick around. I still like Buells.

I can sympathize.
I got a loaner Night train with a 103 Screamin' Eagle motor from Stone Mountain HD for a couple of weeks, while they tweaked my Buell.
Gawd those bike-o-loungers are uncomfortable as hell. Who in their right mind ever thought going down the road feet first was a good idea!?
And trust me, don't try to lean it.
Stopping in a hurry will give you religion too.

No, but the plan is to get an XB9S at some point. That way if I feel the need to play in the corners I can. The bike has mid controls and I plan to keep it that way. Jackbequick and I have had some discussion about this and agree that mid is better. Unfortuneately I am taking longer and longer distance rides. my years at sea have not been kind to my knees and hips. A couple of rides of moderate length 200mi plus were murder. This is supposed to be fun not torture. am I still a Buell fan? yes of course and proud of it.

Hey Lightkeeper: Keep the La-Z-Davidson and pick up a Blast for running around and just for fun. It may be a baby Buell, but you get that same feeling in the curves. Plus, you can pick up used ones cheap.
