I'd love to drive that,

Ironically,

It really don't get all that cold here. I'd say the temps will dip down to a low of minus 10-15 at times but for the most part when the snow is around it always hovers around -5 to 0.

There are times when the wind picks up and it goes to -20 but usually not that bad.

Its also a very wet cold meaning the air is very wet and humid and not dry at all.

As for the pitch of the blade - I have a Toro 8/24 Snowblower that can pitch the real wet stuff about 30-35 feet and the drier snow about 40 feet. I usually clear my own driveway then a couple of the neighbors. I wouldn't own any other kind of snowblower.

My wife and I spent 10 Days in Los Cabos last year. We stayed in the Corridor, at the Fiesta Americana Grand. Great place to vacation, but it can be a little scary and even dangerous outside of the resorts. Not unlike many other vacation spots south of the border.

San Jose del Cabo IS VERY different than Cabo San Lucas. The town is small, without much to do. The fountain in the town square had just been completed in time for Mexican Independence Day (September 15th & 16th). The fountain was choreographed to shoot water to the beat of the National Anthem. Which was played over loudspeakers every hour. At noon the federal police, who were guarding the town hall and bank, would jump in the back of the pickup and make a lap around the fountain whooping it up laughing and yelling. As they made their way around the fountain, they proceeded to let off a few rounds of ammo into the air. Almost like our 21 gun solute.

If that wasn't strange enough for us, these same police were dressed in what looked like full SWAT gear, something like this:
Mexican Federal Police

with the addition of automatic weapons and without the shields.

That being said, Cabo San Lucas is definitely geared more towards tourism. The harbor/marina had some of the biggest most expensive yachts either my wife or I had ever seen and much nicer shops along the waterfront than anything in San Jose del Cabo.

That looks like a lot of fun Buellgirlie! I wish I had the foresight to book something like that when I was there last year.

Maybe when I get back there in a few years!
