Yea, I'm a looser.

Me and 3 buddies got together last night over a few home brews to decide how we were to going to enjoy the moto gp race in Monterey next summer.

Went to their web site and all the really cool stuff is SOLD OUT!!! Tickets have been on sale THREE DAYS!! Part of that time their system was down. Shoulda known.

NO hospitality packages
NO suites
NO preferred motorcycle parking

I guess were not total loosers, we can still get general adm. tickets and be ushered in and out like cattle. There is also reserved grandstand tickets still available. Parade lap (what's that?) and paddock passes are also available.

I guess I'd better wake up and get what I can now.

The best thing is still available.

Paddock Pass!

Parade lap is just as it sounds, ride a lap around the track.

DeBueller, most of the suites etc were sold out before tickets went on sale. The folks that had em last year get first crack and usually book right after last years race.
I was waiting in front of computer at 0800 and their website crashed from all the traffic about 0802. Phone lines were impossible.About 1/2 the time you could not even get a busy signal. I think they finally came back on-line just about 1:00pm.I got 3 day with paddock pass and preferred M/C parking. Don't need no suite when we have the Loveshack.

Yea, I understand now.

Every year here in Seattle there is a event called Seafair and the highlight is the unlimited hydorplane races on Lk WA.

My buddy has been buying special event tickets that get him into the "Captains Club" (it's like a hospitally tent) every year for over 10 years.

As soon as he dosen't buy them they go to the next person on the waiting list. Then if he decides someday to go again he starts at the bottom of the list.

Some years he dosen't even go. He don't want to loose his place so he buys the tickets anyway. Then he sells, or gives the tickets away. This year the two of us went, it was very comfortable and fun. Sitting in the shade, eating good food and not standing in a huge line for beer was really a great way to go. I kind of wanted to do the same at the moto gp. I guess I was dreaming.

Oh well, I'm going anyway, I can't wait. It's going to be a long winter.

the parade lap is cool because you get a 3day parking pass down by the lake bed. it`s almost as good as the red preferred parking. it`s what i got when the red was unavailable/sold out.

Laguna Seca has gotten too expensive and too crowded. It is a cool race and venue.
I'm just going to have to settle for Fontana and Miller Motorsports park (which I enjoyed immensely last year).
