I think that it sounds great. I like that it is twin only. I think that the equipment regulations are a little strange (SST will allow a XBRR to compete with an SV1000, minimum hp 90 max 118 for the class). Is the required use of an official fuel normal? This is the first time that I have seen that. This kind of has a Nascary feel too it, but I like it. The pit crews will start to really shine.

Negotiations are currently underway for the inaugural MOTO-ST race to be held on the traditional road course at Daytona International Speedway this fall.

Oval? Say it ain't so!

Other than the oval question, I say, Right On!

I think the idea is cool, but I hate that you have to add weight and detune the XBRR if you want to race on there. They also only have 3 races posted for next season. We are doing CMRA endurance for this reason.

This looks to be an interesting race.

I didn't even know Fischer had a bike on the market yet.

I think that they need to open up the equipment regs a bit for this series' premier class. With top twins competing like the RC51, 999s, RSV1000, and the XBRR you will have the bikes that will attract the crowds. On the other hand, with the equipment regulations, it looks like you can field a pretty competitive bike with out killing your bank account or have to rely on factory support.
