Looks like my X1 started to leak a bit again.
It seems like it leaks after about every 12,000 to 15,000 miles.

I was wondering if XB engines are more oil-tight than the older XL engines.
It looks like a horrid pain to get at the top end on the XB bikes to me is why I ask.

Nate,
Where is the leak? Are you talking about seepage at the cylinder to case area?

Only leak I've got is at the clutch cable. Always dirty. My old sporty was the same way.

33k on a 04 12R and no leaks, well a little seepage from the shift shaft seal that I am too lazy to replace.

If I drink a lot of coffee, I have to stop frequently to take a leak.

new 0612r bolt, has had small oil leak somewhere on front of engine since ive brought it home. Not bad enough to even show a loss on the dipstick, just enough to make a mess of the chin spoiler after a ride. Hopefully they will fix it under warranty. Only has 900 miles, when I get 1000 mile service done ill ask em about it.
