I don't know if this is appropriate to post this, if so, I apologize.

I'm curious who would be interested in powdercoating misc bits and pieces of their Buell. I am currently starting to stockpile spare parts to coat for my own bike (swingarm, swingarm mounting black, primary cover, etc...) I figure I would be able to do it cheaper than most shops would, and if I do a run of parts it wouldn't be very difficult to do a handful more. Once I am ready to go I plan on taking a weekend to do all the parts I have and parts for a couple of my cars. Parts will either be sandblasted or acid dipped prior to coating, so it will be a good job.

Again I'm just curious on the interest people would have.

Thanks and again my apologies if this is considered spam.

Brian

Right now, I only have 3 colors, black, a somewhat darker aluminum silver, and red, all in gloss. But colors are easy enough to pick up, I just haven't been using others.

As far as cost, I am figuring about half what going rates are.

Justin - what kind of combo are you looking at ? $100 for the pair (remove your own tires, you cover shipping)

Jim - $75 for the pair, timeframe ?- well .. with shipping times and the time to do it (which really doesn't take long) -still probably looking at not having them till the end of next week at best.

Bomber - shoot me an e-mail with contact info and I will let you know when I plan to start doing all my stuff, like you I am waiting till winter to do my parts. Figure $250-275

Thanks guys
Brian
