I was asked a direct question. I answered that question directly. First of all, nobody asked you a question. Second, your answer drew inferences which clearly implied you were directing it at the President, after which you have been steadily back-pedaling because you don't want to seem like the liberal that you are. It's ok, you're entitled to your opinion, and if you actually READ what I wrote above, you would see that I actually was agreeing with you. But you didn't like that either, because it's your nature to assume the counterpoint is it not? You certainly have my sympathies if my chosen vernacular is in excess of your capacity to digest it. Whoa what discourse from the two opposing ends of the political spectrum! Alright, to mend the massively hurt feelings that are going on here, I'd like to make the official announcement that I will be taking Frank's advice and running for president in 2008. That way Pwnzor and Old_man can argue about somebody who is pro-Buell AND pro-Harley. My platform consists of subsidies and huge tax breaks will be available for all those who have motorcycles and Buells in particular. (Frank, that's for a Buell in every garage) I'll appoint Erik Buell as supreme ayatollah/grand pooh-bah (that is an official title) of Wisconsin which will be renamed Buellventureland... okay, we'll work on the name later. All speed limits will be abolished, and wheelies will be encouraged as artistic expression. A few parks here and there can be paved over for this purpose. Drag strips will be a part of mandatory city planning. And I will personally deliver a turkey in a basket to Frank (sorry Frank I come from a family of poultry farmers, namely turkeys, and I'd rather hand out turkeys than chickens). So far so good... who's with me???  Blake, I haven't gotten my lard frosting in the mail yet. | ||

It's very simple, really. In the early days of online gaming, when competing against others and emerging victorious it is common to say the losing party got "owned". Often, when typing "i owned you" or "you got owned" to announce to those in the game who did the owning, it was just as common to accidentally hit "p" instead of "o" and the term "pwned" was born. The mistake was so common that it was adopted as normal. Somewhere along the way, kids decided to replace the "er" on some words with "zor" or whatever seems to fit with whatever word you're saying. The underlying story about what came to be known as "leetspeek" (elite speak) is that hackers exchanging information across military networks like ARPANet or TranSTAR in the early days would replace words with similar phonetic models in order to foil any eavesdroppers. In short, pwn=own zor=er pwnzor=owner as in ug07 pwn3d California DMV recognizes the skills  |
