He was not expected or duty bound to help as he did. He put himself in danger to help people he didn't know. True, there were many, many heroes that day. He was one of them. My hometown, Pittsburgh, had an interesting connection to his events. He couldn't get through to N.Y. 911. He called his Aunt here. She called Allegheny County 911 with the information he gave her.
