Has anyone tried this product? Are communications good? Is the ear piece comfortable, if you play mp3's do they sound ok?

Is there any other devices that could be used as music player combined with telephone?

Anything that fits the headset profile should work to play music, it just only lasts a few hours (probably whatever the talk time is on the headset).

I just ordered a Scala Rider headset for my helmet instead. Mounts via a clip on the bottom instead of the sticky tape the Motorola uses. Amazon reviews by customers were great - seems the noise reduction and automatic volume adjustment based on ambient noise works really well.

Here's the link to the manufacturer:

Retail is $149...I just picked it up off e-bay for $89.99 & free shipping, new in the box.

I have the Motorola I870 for Nextel. It has a built in MP3 player and it works great. It has upgradeable memory. I am ordering the 1Gb card for it soon.

My LG phone has mp3 as well. So the ultimate goal is to do away with the iPod, and use the phone for tunes and calls.
