The JVC is by far the nicest camcorder I have used to date, and seems to never run out of room, and in the event it would run out of internal memory, just insert an SD card.
All the photo's are too large to put on here and still maintain their quality, thus not doing either cam's justice. If you are interested and would like to see pics from one or the other just PM me. |

Well I got use the camera today..... on my brother inlaw sorry to say. He was in a car accident. Broken arm,ribs,gashed open head and the worst of it all a broken neck. He was traveling down a HWY at 55-60 when a guy decided it was clear for him to make his turn. BAM!!! no time to react at all. He broadsided him. They used jaws of life to get him out of the car. I hope he's going to be alright.

Thanks guys he'll need it. He's up and around but doesn't really know much until he see's a specialist on his neck. The 7th is broken in his neck. Ribs will heal the stitches and staples will come out. He has some back injury also but the neck over rides that I'd think. I set him up with an attorney today. Its out of is hands for now. |

Hope the best with the neck, that sounds scary.
I'm hoping to have some nice pics to post after this weekend, a friend of mine got hired to shoot a water skiing competition and asked me to help him out.

Hey Craig,have you ever checked out Tamron lenses?? Tried one today...28-300 af28-300f/3.5-6.3 XR Di and it was really nice,light as well. The price is really great at $230.00. I went to a camera shop/photography store that a old friend from school owns and runs. I told her what I was looking for and what I was using it for and she didn't flinch to show me this one. Comes with a shade but the warranty really rocks at 6 years.

Dont know much about it.
The downside that I see to that is the f/6.3 at full zoom, that will take a large amount of light when zoomed.

Yes you are right. She told me that is where your shutter speed will come into play,I guess. I'm seriously thinking about it. |
