Hi. My name's Stretch and I'm addicted to motorcycles.

"Hi, Stretch"

I'm jonesing for a black Ulysses in the worst way. I think it's the baddest looking motorcycle I've ever seen.

I dropped in on my dealer this afternoon and he let me test-ride a Barricade Orange '06. Brothers and Sisters, I'm hooked in a big way.

I've got a couple bills I have to pay down before I can afford a down payment, monthly payments, and increased insurance, but I'll be there in a few months.

I've been lurking here for a time and think it's a great site, scads of great information from people who know.

See you around.

Stretch

Because of my clean, close shave?

No wait, that's not me...

Oh, I get it now (just read Dave's profile).

Ya interested in taking an 18-year old Honda in trade?

"before I can afford a down payment, monthly payments, and increased insurance,"

Definitely check out HD Insurance, I think they are underwritten by Progressive, but I never have paid more than about 400 to 450 a year for full coverage including 100K of Guest Passenger Liability for either of my Buells, the M2 which was a 1200 and the XB9 which is just short of 1000 cc's.

Welcome to badweb Stretch!

FYI the "Big Bad and Dirty" board is the Ulysses board and they'll have more model
specific info for you, but you can learn a lot about them here too!

The Knowledge Vault (KV) has a TON of information that can help you too. Just
be careful, there is a lot of Tube frame and blast information in there too.

Welcome Stretch. (flamesuit on) You made a good choice. The Uly is the best model made by Buell. (suit off)

welcome! my HD insurance is written by dairyland........and was a LOT less than geico and progressive when i called them.

this year, i'm everything to state farm so i can have one agent for condo, and all vehicles. (they only insure motorcycles as additional vehicles - you have to have other vehicles with them first)

good luck with your purchase and welcome to the madness,

D

I believe you are right about Dairyland. Forget GEICO, they are paying way too much for all those "lizard spots".

Black Ulysses, oh yeah, thats the stuff!

I have been jonesing for a Ulysses since day one.

I told my wife yesterday that we need to sell her car, so I can use the $ to buy a Uly. She did not like that, but told her "Whoops what I ment to say was "my truck" not "your car" honey-bunches." (not)
