Here's something I don't understand, I am pretty sure that something that WOULD make a pair of chaps different, would NOT be the LACK of an ass. I thought all chaps were assless. |

well I got back home right around 5:45 pm. IT was great to finally meet you guys, and had a great time riding with ya. According to the gps. 407.3 miles Door 2 Door, avg Moving speed 64 (This is partly due to hammer since I only averaged 48 on the first 147 miles. I have the gpx tracks on line, you can check them the out if you are so inclined http://patrick.muldoon.us/rides/ . I need to edit them up a bit and clean them up but enjoy. 50x animation is prolly the best speed to view them.
Hammer, the GPS I have is a Garmin Quest 2, I got it from newegg, the mount is a RAM mount from cycle gadgets.
Next time you want to come up north, let me know and I Will see if I Can find us some twisties. |

Paul.. Lookin at one now but doesnt have the map software. Is the copy you have burnable? If so I'll toss you a couple bucks for it and snatch this thing up.

I hope you guys had fun. I woke up at 8am and went back to sleep, then called mikexlr650 at around 1pm. just got back from 150 miles with a friend on a Ducati.
anyway, hopefully I can make the next one. |

I peeked down at my gauge at one point and saw 125 mph I believe. |

Saintly, well My Max speed according to the GPS was 121, at that point I was holding on pretty tight and hugging my airbox as there isn't too much wind protection on a lightning. I briefly glanced down and was around 6K RPM in 5th. (Speedo was closer to 130 but I wasn't taking time to study it). |

i was doin about 80, maybe a half mile behind you! didn't want to lose john and his passenger. yes, he knows NO PASSENGER next time. by the way hammer, that little walk through we did with him has him stoked, seems another addict has been created. the boy will learn fast.
gotta get his skills up before we go back to the dragon. he's never been the one anybody had to wait up for. my guess, he'll fit right in. |
