Its a nice twisty road in rockland county NY.

Bummer Arch, are they park ranger tickets or otherwise?

All of the roads in the vicinity of Bear Mtn and Harriman state park have been HEAVILY patrolled in the past few days. probably due to the huge influx of city dwellers coming up into our country for the 4th.

Arch,, What are they for? Also if you can get me copies of them I can probably get them taken care of depending on how much of an azzhole they are. Been stopped 4 times this week up and around there, think I'm goin to run next time

They always treat me real good in harriman state park. were they PIPC cops? (greenmeanies)
...of course, if you're going to tell the officer who's writing you that the tag is BS, you can expect more of the same, and less leeway in court. next time be cool and you'll stand a chance to PTC it down.
don't argue with the heat. you won't win.
pretty simple.

to further your cause, disconnect your speedo sensor/cable/what-have-you, take the scoot to a shop, and get a written estimate/RO on speedo repair.
plead innocent, and bring the RO with you, and apologize to the officer (those fish-cops have fragile egos...and they've got koreans driving off cliffs) and show him the RO in your pretrial conference, explaining that the speedo issue is why you thought you were going slower.

Or tell him sto shove it up his azz, plead not guilty, request a supporting deposition and then take it to trial. (yes there are traffic trials in N.Y. although rare due to people thinking they got a good "deal" with a plea).Once I have the guys name I'll give him a shout and see how much of a bone smoker he is and let you know where to go from there.

If we are going to keep the route the same this year allow me to hand out route maps in advance, so you all are not held back by my pace. I've got great back roads and I don't want to slow the group down.

Cochise, you are always welcome at my place for the trip out here and I think I have a S3T that's been missing you.

Doggone it, Loonchy, I'm litterally tearin' up. I still have my airline voucher from last year that I could use. I am bowing out of the T-shirt thing this year. ;)

sorry i missed you, mike. best you didn't leave any notes on the rat. that chopper across the street from where i was parked belongs to a narc who's been shadowing me.
everywhere i discuss meeting (via phone)with my riding buddies, he's there.
we met up at a gas station along the thruway, couple weeks ago, to meet for a funeral for a friend, and there was donny brasco, in his van. unreal.
yeah- I'M a big-time drug dealer/hit man.
Cochise- we'll put together a T shirt, very similar to last year's....although I want to incorporate the cool headless horseman graphic that gomo used in his slide show. being the headless horseman is, by definition, skull-less, i don't foresee much of an issue with standards and practices. if it meets with atc approval, we'll put the name on, if you like. blake- same thing. not sure if you want your org.'s name associated with a random run, but lemme know. plenty of time.
JT- Lemme know if you'd like your place mentioned on there, somewhere. gratis, of course.
jlb- sounds great. i may even approach freihoffer's or someone for a 't-shirt space for donuts' sponsorship. i noticed they sponsored something at the fireworks, last night.
i'm pretty busy with helping to chair a community party here in my hamlet, so i'm sharpening that old eye for sponsorship i used to have when i raced snowboards for a living.
i wasn't the winningest guy on the world cup, by any stretch, but i was the most over-sponsored
i'm a huge fan of blood drives (since helping out with m/c blood drives out west), and i'd like to put together a summer motorcycle blood drive/run, as well. we'll see.
unfortunately, the kickass m/c bar where i managed/tended last year is long-gone...shut down and now a gardening center.
easy on the geraniums... you still gotta drive home

That's fine. The reason I didn't want any part of it was in part (very little)do to our little spat we had. The biggest reason was the money lost on the shirts. I don't care if you put ATC on the shirts or not. If ATC isn't on there you wouldn't have to worry at all what I or Blake would think about the shirts. I'd probably STILL buy one either way.

This post in no way is meant to be a slap in the face, so please don't take it as such.

not a chance of taking it as such. i understand. I'm thinking of advance purchase on the shirts, to help get 'em done.
the inimitable sound of an xb AND a '48 chief just made it's way to the tavern next door, so I'm gonna go join injunmort and mikexlr650 for some grub.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...The OC.
