Does anyone see anything wrong with the below statement. Like fitment or mount issues for the 98 s3

Used 2-1/2" Vance & Hines Aluminum Muffler.

Excellent shape.
Suitable for all T-Stormed tubers.
ie: S1W's, '98-'03 S3's, all X1's and later M2's.
Requires Y-type front muffler bracket.
$75 + shipping.

They changed the frame and headers in 1999 (plus the swing arm and a ton of other stuff which doesn't apply). The 2.5" cannisters are not one size fits all as the '98 S1W and S3 are unique.
99-02 should all be the same difference, though. The '98 V&H S3/S1W cannister is out of production, 99 and up are still available new.
