alright. I'm 2 months behind on a $500 payment to the "lawyers" in cabo. I had to spend some money on the wedding( she now has the dress) coming up in oct and things have been REALLY tight. last nite I got this email..

"This is my last e-mail to you, just to let you know we will present a letter to the judge of the case, we are going to quit to represent her. Sorry if I bother you, we were trying to do our job in the best way possible protecting her. I just want to remember you, we were hired for you, if you do not want to spend your money, next time think better before hire someone to do a job. Good Luck.
Lic. Juan Antonio Carbajal Figueroa
Comandante de Bomberos en Cabo San Lucas"

I can say that I'm pretty pissed off.. to put it mildly.. next time? YOU

"I knew a man with a son
who bought him a gun
and learned shorty just how to use it.
Taught him hunting and skining
right from the begining
built himself a mighty fine killer.
But shorty got picked on
beat on and kicked on
and all his classmates wanna punk him.
So with tears in his eye
he catch him in a ride
and told his old man he went hunting.
And he felt so free
like his destiny
lay somewhere out on the horizon.
His heart went cold
he felt a hundred years old
and started pulling back on the trigger...
I think I'm gonna die today
and everyone who hurt me's gonna pay.
How could such a short time feel so long?
How could such a young life go so wrong?
Momma, don't cry.
Please, momma, don't cry.
Momma, don't cry
you did nothing wrong..."

SO, on to the next topic. I sold the bike. there was no other way. I spent all of the wedding money on the cabo crap... believe me, I tried to find other ways but came up with nothing. I sold it to my cousin in cali. He has been looking for a bike for awhile and when I told him I was selling mine he said bring it down..
SOOOOo, I'm putting it in the back of my truck and driving down to newport beach. I'll be leaving on friday the 7th, EARLY and get there sometime friday nite. I was thinking about riding down to see AL at American Sport Bike if he is in (60 miles from there) but he is out of town that day.If anyones around that area and wants to go for a couple hour ride let me know (sat the 10th)... I dont have much time, used all of my vacation for the 2x's to cabo so I'll have to leave sunday/monday.
btw, I sold it for $200 less than what I paid for it new. not bad except that I had a little more into it than that..... good news is my cuz doesn't stay in one place for more than a few years and I'll get a chance to buy it back someday..

I wonder if the lawyers did anything at all...........................

I have been lucky to avoid the Mexican legal system but have spent a ton of time down there. It seems to me that this creep should be prosecuted by the Mexican Goverment.

Can you imagine the chaos if poor people had no chance to convict a criminal? The pressure needs to be put on both the mexicans and the POS "lawyer" that sent you that rather less than eloquent note.

Misato is it possible to take this to the next level, say with the U.S. media? I have a few ideas and a couple of contacts let me know if I can help.

Ciao

I can't read it and not just get angry.

I agree with Sky - I'd really like to see some stink brought on this pile of stinking feces.

John and Ken at KFI would be really good contacts. That station covers a MASSIVE amount of territory between San Diego almost to Vegas.

They are currently LIVID about all sorts of immigration and Mexico-related stuff.

Yes, contacting the media will serve you far better than the hucksters taking your money in Mexico. It now seems obvious that those "attorneys" in Mexico are hucksters who are perfectly fine bleeding you dry for as much money as they can obtain. Please contact the media and appropriate US Goverment entities including your senators and congressmen.

I'm tired. I've posted the site to all of the boards I'm on, not just motorcycle. I've sent emails out from my cabo site to many people, usa, mexico, canadia and any other emails I could find. no response from any of them. I'm not saying I give up but... I dont know what I'm saying. I need coffee.

How about all of us BadWeBrs send the Cabo chamber of commerce, the distric attorney, and whoever else matters a letter expressing our intent to boycot the place until justice is served?

Post up the addresses and I'll fire off my letters forthwith.

I know how much you hate anyone advocating violence Blake but dont get upset with this one.

I think we should hold a ride to Cabo. Find the SOB and bring him to justice. In pieces if nessecary. Then we pay a little visit to the scumbag lawyer..............

I am poor but I think it would be gas well spent....................

Sorry but I am an Old Testament kinda guy.

I have a lot of guns, and know many friends that do too. And many people on this board are also strapped. I say we take a trip to Mexico and settle this issue in person. No one will notice one missing mexican. And if we just so happen to start the Mexican-American war, then so be it. It was bound to happen anyway.

JUST KIDDING

Nasty73z,

How about adding a "just kidding" to that post.

The little guy with the guns was supposed to be the "just kidding". Of course I wouldn't want to start a war.

It's just that the icon doesn't quite get it and the post could get us into some trouble if seen by the right type.

I asked him about the money issues, as far as first it was $2500, then all of a sudden another $2k?
I apologize because I did not explain well my self at the begining, whe charge first to put that guy in prission, after that the procces is very long, we have to go often to the court to be present at the hearings. If you still wish we represent her we need the rest 500 hundred dollars and 1000 when we have the sentence. The guy still is in prission, his family has spend a lot of money on attorneys but still we are wining.

Let me know your decision.

so I sent the $500 payment.

" I got the money thanks a lot. The preliminary investigation is over, we think the sentence will be ready before this year end, the defendant will spend many years in prission, we won the last hearings. When we have the sentence in our hands I will send you a certified copy thru UPS or other delivering company.
I will keep you informed."

I guess I'll have to wait and see.

On a serious note.. my wife and I have been spreading the website out and preying for you and your family and we hope it works out for you w/o much more hassle...
