I just repaired the crash damage from June 1st. Took it for a test spin, and everything seems ok. I switched to the Kawasaki adjustable levers while I was at it, the clutch lever was the same price as a stock Buell lever. The switch was easy, you don't need to drill out the cable knob holder part, just remove the plastic adapter on the clutch cable.

Funny how the last thing that I did was replace the clutch cable and snapped the housing when I over tightened it. That was $45.00 well spent. Fortunately the local shop stocks them.

Now I just have to finish healing. My ribs are fine now, but my hand and especially my thumb are still messed up. I might have hurt it worse then I thought. The thumb still has a pretty good amount of swelling, and it hurts like mad if I accidentally bump it.

From the X-files:

"The adjustable brake lever from a Kawasaki ZX9R around 95-96 is a perfect match Part# 13236-1185. And the Kawasaki Zephyr had an adjustable clutch lever Part# 46076-1165. Adjustable clutch lever needs a little modification (10min switch in side) because Kawasaki switch connecter has 3 pin, Buell has 2 pin and reverse action. Brake lever is just bolt on. Total parts cost about $80."

The switch modification, I am not sure where to go with this one. I removed the third pin, but I do not know how to reverse the action. Without reversing the action, you can not start the bike in gear (with the clutch pulled in).

On another note: my primary is leaking at the derby cover. I think that it may be a little warped. I can't find any other real cause for the leak.
