So I called up the dealer yesterday looking for a part. I talk the the parts guy and tell him:

me: I am looking for a intake manifold seal for a 2003 XB9R.
parts guy: that's a Buell?
me: yeap sure is
parts guy: what model?
me: XB9R
parts guy: what model?
me: what do you mean?
parts guy: you know like Blast, Lightening....
me: it is an 2003 XB9R which is a Firebolt
parts guy: okay I'll look it up

After that was all up hill till he said they only had one in stock. Very nice guys and gals there.

Reminds me of a story. Three motorcyclists walk out of a bar... A Buell owner a Harley owner and a Triumph owner...

Okay I didn't have a joke but it just sounded like it could of been one.

Hey! at least they had a whole seal.
It would have been more sad if they only had half a seal.

parts guy: I feel sorry for ya! (walks away)

At an authorized dealership.
