NHIS has a 99dBa noise limit. I have a D&D slipon that seems pretty loud, and I am concerned that it might be too loud. Has anyone dealt with this before?

Go to your local car audio shop and ask them to hold the db meter near the bike when you rev it.

The D&D is one of the loudest pipes they make for Buells.
Beson/Rhinehart and Force Pipes are tho only ones louder.

They did sound level testing at the shootout, when
it's posted you'll have a good idea of just how the
different pipes compare.

D&D = LOUD... I know I have gotten my chops busted for noise when I lived in Virginia Beach.... the only argument I ever had, is, "At least I have a muffler, not like......"

Yeah, you are over the 99db limit...

The full system seems a *quieter*, though, but I am going deaf anyway : ), so take thatn with a grain of salt...
