I read the same thing Rocket. That really sucks. I'm glad though that he is ok. Its to bad that it couldn't of been reported to the rest of the Buell Community as well. This is bull crap. |

Dammit...Enough is enough! The bad news is Court isn't here anymore. The good news is he's somewhere else. I only hope that Court can and will continue to do the great things for Buell and Its customers as he has for all these years on the BWB. Perhaps someday he will be granted dual-citizenship, but until then, relax and enjoy what you have, wherever you have it. |

Sorry, I immediately removed my own post so as not to provoke matters. It didn't help on second thoughts. Rocket |

How can I avoid doing what Court did to get banned if I don't know what he did to get banned? |

Nate...Relax. I doubt you or anyone else on the BWB is capable of doing what Court does, did or whatever. If you get banned it will be because you didn't honor the BWB agreement for posting. In Court's case, it is safe to assume it was political and neither Court or Blake owe us an explanation concerning what transpired. Quite simply, Gentlemen don't have to wallow in the mud like the latest "Hollywood Scandal." Stuff like this happens all the time in the real world, so why shouldn't it happen here in Cyberspace. It's no big deal. It's like your favorite TV show moving from one channel to another. Just be glad Court didn't go to a Pay-per-View deal like Howard Stern did. LOL |

Hmmm...Not having Court around telling us to remind him to tell us the story of something or other is gonna have an weird empty nest kinda feeling. As was said, he may not be here anymore but at least he's somewhere. All the best to ya Court If I should run into you on another board I will certainly remind you to tell this story |

"What a great idea. Ban the guy who has gone out of his way to help Buellers with problems for years and never asked for a cent in return. All he did was to promote Buells and do what he could to make ownership as pleasant an experience as possible. I would really like to know the whole story." I would imagine that if not for Badweb, a lot of us would not have ever "met" Court. I know I wouldn't have. I would also like to know what Blake has asked out of any of you that you would now chastise him so harshly for following his own convictions and staying true to his self and the integrity of this great board. I know he has never asked more of me than to wipe my feet and please try to not knock over the bric-a-brac. Believe me, this is one of those occasions that "if I have to explain, you won't understand." I was shocked when I heard, but I understand and it takes GREAT cajones to stay on ones own path when one can imagine the slings and arrows one will have to bear as a result. Give Blake a break. He had run out of options. And I don't remember who said it here, but no one was put to death over anything. Proper consequences for improper actions...plain and simple. That's what I teach my kids because that is how life works. There are those who would try and topple this great source of information and comradeship for the Buell community. Blake is trying to see that this doesn't happen. Let's try to give him a hand, shall we? I know if not for this site, I would never have met a lot of you, physically or virtually. I would never have met Erik Buell. I'd probably not still own the Buell after all these years. We are certainly not curing cancer here guys and gals, but this is surely a kick-ass place to hang. I know I have helped a few folks out on this board(in a righteously major way) and Daves is one of the best. And Al Lighton and his store...that man is just full of info. And Ferris Bueller stories are about the best around. Capt Pete(when he pops in) is about as entertaining as they come. And what about the grit and controversy that Rocket delivers(sometimes with a brick). He is a very clever dude. And Henrik is amazing with all the stuff that guy knows(he's one of the more methodical folks I have met). And All the contributors to this great community(yerownselves included)...don't slight yourselves at all. You are all what makes this place interesting and palatable to me. SO it doesn't take just one person to make or break a fine communion such as Badweb. Let's not perpetuate that, please. From what I heard, there are some great things in store for Badweb. I, for one, wouldn't miss it for the world and I am happy to be part of it. Let's not carry on this bickering. If anyone would like to e-mail privately or give me a call. I am here ready to administer a hearty telephonic or virtual hug any time. Thank you for your patience and consideration in reading the above and I hope no one feels slighted in any way by my post because I truly think of you all fondly. Pammy |

Hmmmn, this seems odd. Thought Court was a sort of lynch pin around here? If it makes anyone feel any better, I think I've been banned from Sacborg. |

i'm in agreement w/ pammy also. although i'm not a huge contributor here and only started posting recently, i have been lurking here quietly for a some time. just step away from the computer and take a ride, you will feel better and your bike will thank you. let time heal the wounds....unless you know "ALL" the details, one can not really comment on this issue...some things are better left alone. |

I, like others that have posted in this thread, have learned a great deal from Badweb, owe it (and Blake) a debt that can likely never be repaid, and plan on continuing to enjoy this community that said, leave it to that very community to turn the falling out of two long-time friends into a circus (sigh) Balke owes no explanation, as it's his living room -- Court owes no explanation, as it's not our business both are behaving in a gentlemanly fashion, acting as they please, and bothering no one else too bad, certainly, but hardly a reasonable cause for all the furor |

Court's a nice guy. Whatever the problem is, I'm sure it will get worked out. In other news, yesterday I rode 37.9 miles with the 'low fuel' light on. |

There appears to be no policing at the sacborg forum. It's safer on the BadWeb I don’t appreciate the bad language there. |

When one tries to straddle a fence one sometimes gets splinters where you don't want them. I prefer to use gates, and try to remember who's yard I'm in when visiting and participating. Just seems like a nice way to ensure return visits. Norris, There is some policing over there, rare, but it's there when needed. |

I think this is all a ruse- Court is working as a "double agent" for Buell. This was a common ploy during the Cold War. Make it appear the guy's been kicked out of your country, he's taken in by the "enemy country" and brought into their confidence, then, when he gets all the top secret stuff, he returns home. As evidence, there has been a noticeable increase in posts actually related to Buells (some even favorable!) on SACborg for about the past week...

Court has never been, nor is currently banned from participating here. Anyone who misleads folks into believing that Court has been banned from BadWeB is not being honest. Sorry to have missed all this for the past few days, been offline all weekend. My sister and her family have just moved from Indiana to Kilgore, TX. The air conditioner in their just purchased home, built in the 1950's was not working, so on Saturday after taking care of some things at home (removing decaying pile of brush and limbs from the back yard to the dump) I set out to play air conditioner diagnostician and fixit man. That was for sure a dangerous situation as it was an electrical gremlin with me trying to effect repairs on 240V circuitry. With the amazingly timely help by a local industry expert, we got it repaired and working. I had the parts/materials waiting, the expert replaced the burnt out #10 AWG conductor with proper #8 AWG and the 60 AMP fuse with the proper 40 AMP model. Cool! Pun intended. Yesterday was spent planting azaleas and tending to the garden and of course watching some motorcycle racing. Today the moving truck showed up and I'm testing my back after suffering some severe muscle spasms just two weeks ago. I'm sorry for all the web-based miserableness. I never expected Court would react like he did to my custodial requests. It is not something new or rash. Ego is a powerful thing. Other factors may be in play for Court, other agendas that run counter to the policies of BadWeB. I have learned that staying true to what one knows is right and proper is always the best course of action. Respect is necessarilly a two-way street. I sure don't need all the drama and miserableness some see fit to foster. I need to remove myself from that or be dragged down into it. Been there, done that. I hope to avoid that in the future. Thanks to all who spoke/speak up on my behalf. I really appreciate it. Y'all rock. Above all, please be excellent to each other. Just down the road a piece Jim, maybe an hour or so East of Van on I-20. I cannot recall if Van lies East or West of Canton, but it's right around there. I see the exit every time I pass by there on the way to and from Dallas. There were some popping noises and sparks. Really shoddyprior repair job was the culprit. PS to my first post: Court is welcome to continue his participation here anytime he so desires. Again, he has not now nor has he ever been banned from participating on BadWeB. If he chooses to shun the place, that is entirely his own choice. PPS: Vigorously promoting non-sponsors and suggesting that folks visit the web site of a non-sponsor is a clear violation of BadWeB policy. Like it or no, agree with it or no, that is the policy here. It isn't fair to our sponsors and it isn't respectful to our community. Okay, gotta get back to lifting furniture. Thank goodness the house is not multiple stories. |

Blake, thanks for the input on the a/c issue, gives me thoughts to use in the future. Correct wire size to not max out the wire and correct fusing is good to know. Just curious, but did your relatives move to your Kilgore or the other Kilgore in Texas? None of my business, but would add an amusing antegote (antidote? anidote? anti-goat? antigua? antiguagoat? floating boat? argh - bad spelling day) to the story if she/they moved to the "wrong" Kilgore. |
