Any Badwebbers coming to our Nations Capitol for Memorial Day weekend and riding in Rolling Thunder? I don't want to be the only Buell out there showing those Harley guys what a little old "Sportster motor" can do!

Go if at all possible! I went in 2002 when I got back from Korea. It was the greatest time. The Wall will humble you.....

I'll be there..........well here, actually. I live in Bethesda so its not much of a commute.

It would be nice to get a bunch of us together. Right now I'm trying to figure out whether to join a subgroup or just show up solo. There is a group that will be leaving from my local HD/Buell dealer in Rockville. There will be a huge group at the Ft Washington HD/B dealer - I think they are like THE official meeting place in the area.

I haven't seen any specifics yet but I'm sure there will be some Patriot Guard Rider (I'm a member) groups.

Wouldn't it be great to get as many Buellers together as possible! A BADWEB contingent. If there are any others out there who are coming and would like to get together for the ride (or at least meet somewhere to say hey) put a post here and we can see if it's do-able

I've got a boat-load of family that will be "visiting" here that weekend so my little house will be maxed out but if anybody needs anything while they are down here I might be able to help.

PM me and I can give you cell phone, etc

Don

The Washington D.C. club, which first met in April 2000, meets consistently on the first Saturday of each month and promptly follows each meeting with a spirited ride. Due to the transient nature of the D.C. area, membership has varied greatly over the years. Currently, the club has 23 active members and is always looking for new recruits. Every year, DC BRAG helps its sponsoring dealer host the Rolling Thunder Rally, held Memorial Day weekend. This year, specifically, the club is promoting its combined BRAG/H.O.G.® rides to various motorcycle racing events in the mid-Atlantic area: the Summit Point, West Virginia road races; Budds Creek, Maryland drag races; and dirt track races in Hagerstown, Maryland. In addition to the race rides, DC BRAG schedules frequent track days at Summit Point - or VIR - and are trying to organize a DC BRAG only MSF Experienced Rider Course. With so much going on, it's good the club keeps its members informed with bi-monthly newsletters; e-mail lists; and a frequently updated Web site.

How much is the MSF experienced riders course? Used to be quite a bit - I know the beginners course was well over $300 a couple years ago.

I think (hope) most service members know this but they can usually get these courses for free on base

Kyle

When you get back from over there (thanks for your service) be sure to look us up if you are in the area.

I remember writing last year that after BRAG asked for a short bio of the club. They only cut it down a little bit!

We managed to do everything on that list except for the MSF course, we did not get enough interest to do it last year. this year if enough people get together we could probably pull it off.

Jose,
I will be sure to do so. Would be a pleasure to meet you, as well as the rest of the group.
Midnight,
Sorry.... but we get them for free. Search for the MSF website, I got my beginners course ( in PA ) for free before I joined a few years ago. Better hurry as they book up fast.

I will be down in Ocean City, MD. from Friday to Monday. I will be riding over to Fort Washington HD/Buell on Saturday. Any Buellers on the Eastern shore want to ride on Saturday?

While you are over there look for Jose's green S-3. If ya want to see my X-1 you would want to cross the river and come to the small shop I work at. Come to the back door where all the bike are, not necessarily to be worked on, but for the "social club" that hangs out back there with us dirty mechanics
