ANYWAY, back to the original subject: the METS won again, last night. They're leading the Major League by a big margin. |

I had the pleasure, if you want to call it that; or meeting a few members of HA in Deutschland. They did have that "do not approach vibe", as well as the HA gear. Anyways... a group of my friends and I are at a stripclub, where a group of the HA's are ( spending plently of cash, and flaunting what they didn't spend yet). Right while we were leaving the biggest HA they had was throwing money at the stripper on the stage, and because it was so crowded I had to walk in front of him, I said excuse me, and continued to pass by him. Man if my heart didn't skip a beat when he stuck up his arm to stop me. He stopped me shook my hand, and stuck some money down my shirt ( I'm 5'11 and like 150lbs)... we exchanged a few words, and after contemplating taking the money he stuff in my shirt I reapproached him and tucked the money back into the collar of his shirt. After which we hugged, and he jumped up on stage to try to dance with the girl. Criminal ? I have no reason to believe he is, I haven't witnessed anything he's done to break the law. But I am sure glad I had the opportunity to meet the group, definately a great bunch of guys. Not everyone was the Deutschland HA's it appeared as if they had a few American Ambassadors with them. |

Sean, If you want to comment upon someone in a personal kinda way, please take it offline. Know Tramp for being Tramp and love him for it. He's a very unique individual as are you. No call whatsoever to get in his face for expressing his view. Taking issue with the view is great, fine, wonderful, but to launch into a personal criticism/commentary is not. Okeedokee? Please talk issues, not people. |

The METS? are you for real? they'll last til the all star break with lots of hooha about can they go all the way this year with the new lineup, & are we going to have a subway series, & then they'll fade away as usual. (come back Bobby Valentine all is forgiven) |

I don't know, they're far ahead of the rest of MLB, both NL and AL. last i cehecked i believe they were at .889 (!). That's the best they've ever been, early season, since '85. Of course, in '86, they won the Series. we'll see how it all pans out. I'd like to see them win, but of course, there are huge odds that they'll goof up, as is often the case. Willy's doing a great job, though. |

either wya, though- the "who is this 'tramp' homo?" thread is a few down. This thread's about the New York Mets. Please try to keep the 'the man's talking s***' posts in that thread. Thanks for your understanding, and please don't be so offended by my Mets-fan status. I'll gladly cease Mets talk altogether, just for anyone who's offended by The Mets and my associated banter. |

Please try to keep the 'the man's talking s***' posts in that thread. Best you explain that to Blake seeing as you understand the point of my comments. After all, you were asking for some kick back weren't you. No that's not a question. Rocket |

I just give em the finger and drive on by. Not a single problem yet. After that gun incident though I have no use for em. |

You are all crazy. Seems like a love hate relationship sometimes here... Everyone has good and bad experiences. I got a ticket late last summer when I am cruising along behind approx. 5 cages in the slow lane. Open fast lane..I was looking for a exit and due to road construction I was just following along. Saw the officer go by and slip into the median, thought no more about it, till he pulled up behind me. Got out of his car walked up(I already had my cards ready) he walked past me and walked around my bike no less than 3 times looking at it. Stopped by me asked for my info and walked back to his car. Came back with a ticket for 70 in a 55(which if I was doing then the 5 cars in front of me were also), I said I was following the cars in front of me he said "no you weren't you were overtaking them". I said well wouldn't I have been using the other lane for that and he said "you shouldn't be passing them at all". He then proceeded to walk around my bike looking at it again. He then said "I never saw a sportbike with a belt before" and I said Now you have-only the best have belts. He then was buzzed by a car and as he ran to get in his car : he said "that guys getting a ticket". The Man pulled me over to look at my bike and then gave me a ticket. Now like it or not. It doesn't take but 1 bad apple to ruin the bunch. I was Security Police in the USAF and I have been called by many names and seen many lousy things and that one incedent put me totally on the defensive about police officers. I believe that everyone deserves respect be he police officer or garbage man. And police officers do put a lot on the line. Seems they need to do more teaching the public what the correct thing is than to crucify them for mistakes, and those officers usually have the experience to know the difference between mistakes and outright disregard. Also police officers constantly ignore the traffic laws they enforce and there really is no excuse for that. They should be setting the example. They get in their on private car...Go for it. But when in a Police vehicle it should be by the book when not actively pursuing a suspect. |

Zxzer04, your post reminded me of the time I got pulled over knowing I had done nothing wrong. He walked up looked at my bike and asked for my license and I asked him what was the problem? He hesitated and then said "the reason I pulled you over is because something about your bike didn't look natural", then I said "well thats funny, nothing feels more natural then riding this bike"! He smiled, handed me my license back and said "have a nice day" as he was walking to his car. Man, I didn't know if I should be happy for not getting a ticket or pi$$ed for being pulled over while people are gooning at me while all he wanted to do is check out my unnatural ride. Aarghh! |

I've noticed for a long time Tramp's posts are somewhat contrary. It gets on my tits, often. Especially when he harps on about HA, and now cops too. Yeah, I'll lighten up. Rocket |
