Was on a short little adventure today, met Ferris Bueller as he was passing through Vancouver on his way up to see Ma Bueller for her birthday.

Somewhere between Vancouver, WA and Toledo, WA the screws on my tail light lens backed out and the lens went bouncing down the freeway. I can not find a replacement anywhere in the NW (new or used)and the local dealership can't seem to order one (says they are not available). Meeting back up with Ferris on Saturday does anyone have a tail light lens for a 2001 S3 T they are willing to part with?

Pixs from today.

Corso,
Any chance it's the same as one from an '00 Cyclone? If so, I've got you covered. Cool you and Ferris got to hang a bit, can he ever avoid the law?

If worse comes to worse, you could run down to the local auto zone, or whatever, and get either a red cover for the rear bulb...r, get a red bulb..at least keep you on the road until you can get your hands on a lens...

HTH

I keep trying to replace one of my two Nikon 950's, and still can't find a credible replacement for under $1000 (Cannon Digital Rebel).

Reep,

I hear ya there. The 2 pix's above were taken with my 950. I had actual forgot what a fun little camera it is. I replaced it long ago with an Oly E-10 and replaced the Oly over a year ago with a Canon 20D.

I think the 950 will become a permanent accessory in the tank bag.

Ferris looks OLD in that picture, did you photoshop it? I know Ferris can't be a day over 21!
Say hi to the old buzzard for Bartimus, and tell him to get rid of that winnebago and get another Buell!!! : )

These were shot with a banged, battered and bruised 950 yesterday.

Camera are like pistols. . . if it's not comfy to carry, it makes no matter how good it is if it's sitting at home.

The 950, although slow, is TRULY automatic. The most salient thing $5K worth of digital Nikon and lens provides in the ability to screw up in an infinite number of ways and at the rate of 5FPS.

In the right situation the D100 is the cat's meow, but the 950 never leaves the bag.

: )

OMG! I seen at least 4 of them guitars I would just love to have!

Court....You must take me there one day when I have the chance to visit NYC again!

I'm sure Court will agree with me on this, the Nikon 950 for what it is can not be beat, especially for any type of macro work. It just kicks tail!

A friend of mine the other day said that we play with some of the most dangerous toy's to the wallet, motorcycle's, guitars and camera's. : )
