Would you mind sharing your general geo location and your insurance rate with me.

Sure, South Burlington, VT - I pay $366 a year for full coverage on my 2004 XB12R and 1992 BMW K75S.

I'm 28, no tickets, but three claims in the last 5 years, including one totaled bike (not by me).

I use Dairylands.

You usually have to get an agent for Dairyland - but not necessarily one in your state. My agent is in Arizona - Berglund Insurance:

Just got the renewal this week.
I shopped quite a bit a few years back and found this company to be the best and most affordable. This is full coverage for 12 months. What do you think?

Oldog,

I use Fernet (fernet dot com) as my broker for Dairyland. Full coverage with 25/50/15 liability (I carry more than law requires on my cars but who am I gonna hurt but myself on my bike) and with $3K for add-ons/upgrades. $250 deductible.

$315 for the year.

They quoted $305 with $500 deductible and $286 with $1,000. My credit is good, State farm can't come close even though my autos and house are though them.

I don't know about other states but in Florida uninsured motorist coverage is about $1k to $2k additional per year. I've found that uim also covers "hit and run" situations. Seems that anyone who crashed claimed "hit and run" therefore the higher rate for uim.

I just changed companies after AIG bumped my rate about 70%.

Full coverage (except uim) 100/300, $500 deduct runs $325/yr. each for our 2 Hayabusas.

We're "senior citizens" and our credit score is high.

A MSF Riders Course will often give you a 10% discount, too. Hey, every little bit helps, right?! I have Dairyland @ $290/year (with one speeding violation) for my '00 S3.
