Looks like fun, I wonder if you could do anything other than drift?

That's a modified Smart Car. Those are cool in their own right. Wonder if they'll make it to the States? Daimler-Chrysler makes 'em.

This has been going on for quite a while now. out in Cali the 1/4 scale cars all have motorcycle engines.

went to a link from a post here i think the other day. two busa engines fused together to make a V8. something crazy like 375 HP.

We had one of those Smart cars in the building here for demoing some product technology. "They" had it speed limited to something like 5mph so that nobody would take it for a joy ride. I have no idea if they'll be made street legal certified for the U.S. market. I've also no idea what they're like for mpg ratings.

I'll bet it is a hoot to drift in, but probably a real bummer to try and use it as a real vehicle. I can't imagine that it would have any stability at highway speeds.

One more thing, check out the Legends cars.
They look like old coupes, they all use a sealed Yamaha IL 4 1200cc motor.
The neighgor right behind us races one.
they are pretty neat.

Volkswagon has promissed to bring a 3 wheeler to the states (this year?) soon.
This probably not an up to date pic, but all I could find at the moment.

POp, what and where are those wheels, on the race buggy you posted, available from?

They're just the sort of thing I've been searching for to put on my TVR.

Grinnal Scorpion

Been around for a long time now, but still the best. Buy it ready or in kit form. BMW K1200 based. Quicker than a Ferrari 355 on the open road, allegedly.
