I've never had a problem with outsourced calls to India (yet). As much as I hate the economics (and greed) that create the situation, I can't fault the people on the other end of the line for working for a living. They seem a lot better prepared and knowledgeable than some of the mouth-breathers I've had to deal with here in the US.

That being said; now a quick funny story. There is a large credit card processing firm in the town I live in. I know some of the programmers there and one of them (a manager) is from India. Every time he answers the phone from someone seeking help about software issues, he has to explain that he's not answering the phone in India, they don't outsource, and he works in a tall building in Columbus, Georgia.

It must be hard to be Indian and have to answer the phone in the office these days.
