Here's another company, they produce waterproof leather boots that aren't lined with goretex so they are very cool in summer unlike Goretex boots. They are hand made to your measurements and once they have your last made they can make more off the same last. Be sure and wear the same size sock you want to wear with them, they are that custom made. I have worn mine over 30,000 miles the last two years sometimes in driving rain on long distance tours and they are waterproof and still breath. Expensive yes, how many "bargain boots" have you bought and gotten rid of? You can choose the leather the bottoms etc. I made mine double thick in the ankles for abrasion.
