It seems pretty ridiculous that a dealer is selling these while the promotion is still going on.

Looks like someone is taking advantage of the generosity of Buell Motor Company.

Anyone have any contact with Rocky Mountain H-D? It would be interesting to get their perspective on this.

I would understand the last time around, a few of the guys around here said that they would pay so as not to have to drive 3 kajillion miles to get to dealer who was participating.
But I agree also, at least wait till the promo is over!

From what I understand, the dealers pay for the promo hats initially. Every hat they give away with the corresponding Buell paperwork they get reimbursed for.

As long as they're not selling the hat on ebay and then turning in false paperwork in order to be reimbursed, it should be all above the board.
