Ok, i've been all up and down 149, and out to "riders road". That can't be all the good roads in houston. I need to know some other really good windy roads. Anybody?}

ahh... grasshopper... you are wise to seek guidance... you have yet to experience Honea Egypt and 105 through the State Forest, not to mention the Independence Trail!

Okay seriously go to the local "squid" board and get access to the routes. Here's the link:

By the way, some of us are getting together on Saturday, February 11th to go west to Belville, Roundtop and Brenham. JXB is putting together a nice route for us. I will make an announcement in Storm Fronts next week to see if anyone else wants to join us.

Yes, I never throw anything away... Although I just realized ("bad daddy") that the 11th is the little one's birthday. I could ride, but then I wouldn't have to bother going home. So this ride will be on the 12th!

Are you going to be around RT?

Mike: I think so. You've got my cell #, right?

M202: Maybe he means the "La Bahia Trail", which is FM 390 from Burton to Independence. In my opinion, that's the best bike road in the Austin-Washington-Fayette-Colorado County area. Check it out.

edit to add: The part between Independence and William Penn is good, too. I should have highlighted it as well.

RT, correct 3090 is a great road. Last time we ended up in Navasota where we had lunch at the Filling Station.

Mike, I know you can't go on the 11th but Sunday is not good for me. If the weather is good I still plan to ride on Saturday 11th. We can keep trying to match schedules....

No worries JXB, we will get together again soon. Two little kids sometimes cramps my motorcycle social calendar but as a dad too you know I wouldn't them for anything!
