The Mrs and I want make an open invitation to any of you guys (or girls) coming down for bikeweek to stay at the house. Bring a sleeping bag,etc. We have room in the garage for a handfull of bikes. We have a giant BBQ out back, and I plan on taking some vacation days, so when everyone is done for the day we'd love to sit out by the pool and kill the evening with beer and brats. Nick | ||

I live in Jacksonville. I'd love to hook up with some Buellers in Daytona. If the rumors of a Buell racer in the 200 are true, then we all have to go en masse. Man, imagine the noise a Buell racer would make at full throttle? | ||

Mike, I know Brankin and I are talking about riding down also. We went last year and had a blast. I was considering doing March Madness instead, but between now and then I will make up my mind. LV thanks allot, something to consider. | ||

I think a group ride from somwhere, anywhere to the track for the 200 would be an awesome site... and sound! (maybe that is already planned, I am behind more than ahead most times) We guesstimate that we can house a dozen or so for a few days. Just trying to make it easier on some of the folks that either can't or don't want to fork out for the inflated hotel prices of bike week. And, I am sure ...make a few new friends. | ||

Rubberdown, You can see a whole ton of the Buells at Daytona the first week of March during the Thunderbike races. It's just a week before the 200. If you can make both weekends you'd get double the Buell endorphins. | ||

Daytona will be a fabulous place to be. I'd like to make the BBQ. The only deal I could get for rooms required 5 nights and I didn't have that time. I'm coming in just for the "Race of a Lifetime" and buzzing back out. Looking forward to seeing the Florida crew again. | ||

The race is on Saturday the 11th. Do we want to BBQ that evening atfer the race or Friday the 10th?? suggestions? Looking forward to meeting all of you! I had the pleasure of meeting AlDaytona a few months ago, and some of the guys like M1 when we were living in Vegas. Nick, I'm not sure I'll be able to make it for 2 weekends, but if there is anyone interested in meeting up the first weekend, I'm game. I also need to see if there is anyone traveling from Orlando Airport to Daytona Speedway on Thurs before the FUSA weekend of races. I am trying to save the $$$ and not get a rental car just to cart me to and from the airport. I have a bike to ride waiting at the track. Thanks, Greg | ||

Vegas; I'd prefer to have the dinner on Friday evening. I'll have to leave right after the 200 to get back for work, so if you have it on Saturday, I'll have to miss it. I would enjoy meeting you and your wife, as well as all the Buellers from this board that I haven't met yet. However, if everyone else prefers a Saturday night dinner, then maybe I could drop by on Friday and say hello, anyhow. | ||

Lets call it Friday evening! For all I care, we can do it again on Saturday. I'm game. We are both very excited about getting to meet so many from the board.
