Yep Pitting for Scott Jensen in AMA SBK and trying to get permission at work to extend to watch the FUSA too I plan to arrive about mid-week if I can't get permission to get there the weekend before I have no plans to do much during Bike Week; will be pretty busy but gotta eat sometime! | ||

The high banks of Daytona are calling my name. Mike, I've got the bike apart, and we're getting it ready. Found a leaky valve guide seal, that explains the puffing smoke. I'm getting flight prices, but I might be able to make it for the 12 days, if work allows. | ||

Just a few more details guys: Steve-O (well and everyone else) here's kind of the "tentative" plan: We'll cook out on Friday and Saturday. Times yet to be determined. I'll supply the coolers, ice, soft drinks, Bubba Burgers, Brats, and probably some BBQ chicken. We'll also try to get some sides like chips, etc. The grill is open for anything else that you guys might bring. I suppose BYOB would be ok. My wife likes Budweiser, so we'll have some of that on hand. As it all gets closer and we get sort of a head count we'll know more what to add. If anyone has any of the Coleman type chairs to bring along that would be great. I am trying to scare some up locally. For those that will be staying overnight, you might need to bring a sleeping bag or air matress. I don't have any extra sheets, pillows, etc. We have a guest bath that should be ok for everyone. (Shower, etc) The rule here is the house is yours when you are here. we'll show you the fridge, the stove, all the goodies and you wait on yourself!  By the way... we have 5 cats and a dog...just in case anyone could be allergic. They usually hide out (well except for the dog) when strangers are around. See you guys then! Nick and SammieJane | ||

I'm trying to get permission to hit both weekends here at work. Bummer is that I also work with a number of bike racers and fans and if suddenly we lose 4 out of 20 engineers for 10 days, it gets iffy. | ||

OK boys and girls, I need some help on this one. I just won a contest here at work to spend a week in Myrtle Beach all expenses paid. The boss owns a Condo in Myrtle Beach and he is flying me down to spend a week there. However, I want to go to Daytona and the trip is planned for March. When is Daytona Bike Week? Primarily the Daytona 200, I have never seen a bike race before and thought I could rent a car, drive to the 200 and back to Myrtle the next day. hi fiery! will be at the hilton/hyatt/whatever corporate chain it is, across from the convention center if its booth duty - hopefully a hotel closer to track if its demo duty - still sorting that out, as my boss will be changing in the next month - whether new boss will allow me to go on event that was assigned before he had me is unknown. i'll prob go on my own, if not work though - in which case, i might be crashing in the playroom of sleeping bags that vegasbueller has so generously offered to save some cash-ola. room rates during daytona are fairly outrageous  will keep ya posted, and of course, we'll hang out down there, up here, wherever!!! D | ||
