For all of us that grew up in the late 60s and early 70s.

is that for real? Americans actually started building a car with a clutch pedal? who will they get to drive it? maybe it is for export, perhaps they want to sell in Europe? I thought American drivers are too lazy to shift gears. or maybe it is actually a mercedes with some nostalgia styled body work? so can it turn a rear wheel? last time i checked chrysler had given up the rear drive market, sometime back end of the 80's or so.

If I remember correctly, I did not grow up in that time period. I was too busy street and drag racing, to grow up! I am surprised that any of us made it to 2005! Funny, these names sound obscene now, THRUSH, HOOKER!
Yours truly, RAT FINK.

well if it IS real, and it has rear wheel drive and a manual transmission, then i am quite well pleased with Daimler for kicking some sense into what was surely a dying brand.

See what the 2005 Mustang did! That is one good looking car. I hope its real, hemi or no, maybe a 340 six pack for those who remember that one, or maybe a 383. I don't remember if a 440 Challenger was ever produced.

I likey.

I hear the General is bringing back the Camaro to look similar to the '68. If that was true, that would be super sweet.

Cool your jets guys, it's currently just a prototype or concept car to be unveiled after the 1st of the year. Might see production in five years.

Jerzydevil, my vote would be for a style simular to the 701/2 Z-28 RS LT-1!

It is for real and I hear it is suppose to be at the Detroit Auto show in January. If they the crowd they are looking for it maybe out as soon as 2008.

6.1L HEMI 425 HP and a manual trans is the concept car. Same basic drive train as the SRT8 Charger and Magnum, which are rear wheel drive independent suspension and all wheel disc brakes.

Is orange the color of choice for concept cars?

It's the best color for an XB12X!

Chrysler doesn't seem to mess around when it comes to new styles. They seem to go from concept to production a lot quicker than ford or gm

I see they are bringing some "soul" back to car design. It's about time. The suits may be good about crunching numbers, but they know nothing about style.

Admin,
Can you put an enter after each picture to fix the side to side scrolling.

Cool Car!
I want one!

According to the latest numbers, Chrysler is one of the least "dying breeds" of the American auto makers.
Chevy, on the other hand....

That Challenger looks like a more faithfull recreation than the Mustangs...

Good balance of modern and nostalgia.

On the other hand...

(I can't believe I'm about to say this, I know I will never hear the end of it.)

I have to agree, the Challenger looks fantastic!!! Even in orange. Oh, how that hurt.

There you go Slayer, you got me to say it.
