Speed (AKA the NASCAR Channel) is about the best, but only because they're the only one out there. Speedvision was much better, but that's water over the dam. | ||

Motors tv, on Astra 2, perhaps not, as well as your dish you'll need to launch your own relay satellite, could be expensive, but maybe sears will have a sale on in the new year.  | ||

Speed does a fair job of covering motorcycles Oln covers what i consider the more interesting motorcycle races AKA: Dakar(GO PETE) and SuperMoto Both channels come with D-tv's basic package R | ||

I've been a DirecTV subscriber for about six years now. Speed Channel (607) is the only channel dedicated to motorsports. But they do not show much motorcycle program of interest. A lot of the shows are SCCA racing, Car Crazy (old bird interviewing his buddies...). The best show is Victory by Design where a race car driver / journalist shakes down famous marquees of racing fame and points out their technological achievements with each model. Unfortunately it's not on very often. | ||

no television in my house. we ice race (cars and bikes) and motocross race, my 15 year old is on his 4th bike, started with an 80. and between ice and motocross we shoot .45s in competition. my son has been shooting his own 1911 since he was 8 years old. and he is FAST. real fast. watched him take head shots on four seperate targets, from a concealed draw in 3 seconds. set a course record, he was 14 at the time. | ||

Fullpower you the man! I just bought my 13 year old his 1st motorcycle. A brand spanking new Honda CRF 100F. And he has been to the range with me but has not shot yet, though his time will come this year. Thanks guys for the insight. Following Barcelona Dakar is a must.
