I can't stand to see winter, let me tell you why.
It's not for the end of the riding season, as we pretty much ride year round.
It's not for the short days, although short days always make me feel like I'm running out of time.
It's not the wintery mix that seems to invade the Great South East at least once a year.
It's more how the winter season seems to turn the BadWeB into a war zone.
People reading things into posts, taking things personally, trolls come out of hiding, not to mention the dread weretroll (nice people in warm weather, nasty as the weather in winter).
I would like to see this season be a little different.
I know it's off to a rough start for some, but it's not too late.
I've heard it's to be a long hard winter, even here in the Great South East.
So while we're here on BadWeB, let's have a cyber-summer.
May our winter be short and out tempers be long.

Just WTF do you mean by that diatribe?!!! AHHH!!! It's happening to me too!

Seriously, that's a pretty astute observation. Must be part of the same phenomena that causes some people to act like complete asses around Christmas. Amen to all you said.

Yep, seems most folks have a fuse that's directly related to the amount of sunshine in the day. I never stop riding even up here (mid-Atlantic region), just have to be more selective when I ride. Course, more time between rides means time to customize the XB12X :-)
Cheers

Amen. No-one said that we all have to hold hands and ride off into the sunset but just lately it seems every thread turns into a flame war.
