After reading the KV throughly I couldn't find any info at what temperature the ignition interrupt engages. With my new full fairing on and a head temp. guage, sender on rear cylinder, and cooling fan added I have to wait until really warm weather for best test of adequate cooling but am wondering about where to turn on fan (manually operated on/off). I'm guessing around 300 degrees or so. KV results show XB fans on at approx. 420 degrees. Still before ignition interrupt but way too high in my opinion. Anybody have any opinions on this subject and do you know at what temp. ignition interrupt takes place. Thanks much, Bob

Bob some thing over 300f, I have observed that temp for the cht from the pc [not pwr cmdr] software just running tests and checking out the equipment after a few minutes of idling.
between us if you have some air movement from that Honking Big fan under the body work I would bet that its ok it does not take much air movement to bring head temps down after a long stop or crawl
BTW that is one sweet black ride you have built
( like a beautiful woman in the proverbial little black dress )

Jim, thanks for the kind words and I agree with you about cooling fan. On two rides so far temp. came up to 200 degrees and when I stopped it went to 210, then when I turned on the fan it started to come down at 0ne degree per second. Still though real warm weather will tell. Thanks, Bob
