It was a great day and we had a great time. started out a little cold but warmed up to a balmy 52 degrees. The X is getting fat on rice. Might have to put her on a diet of Ducs. The picture is on the top of Richard Russel and at noon there were a lot of ice.

I'd like to ride with you guys sometime. But looking at your riding gear. I bet you ride much faster than I feel safe riding at.

i would like to ride with mountain ride as well. new12r told me that he is ungodly fast, and i think new12r is ungodly fast so mtrider must be extremely fast. anyways, im kinda fast myself and i wrecked 3 or 4 weekends ago going about 65-70 mph on hwy 129 in the n ga mts around either a 25mph or 35mph turn. i have no clue how it happened. if i didnt have my suit on, i would have been much worse off. i suffered a broken wrist and thats it. no road rash or anything. the moral of the story is, even if you arent the fastest rider out there, it still pays to be protected. you will get faster the more you ride. dont get cocky, but when you put that suit on, it will boost your confidence level 200%. ride safe.

ryker77 we ride at different speeds. If we do ride with a slower rider we will always wait. We leave nobody behind period.

Buell 666 I am not that fast. People say I am fast but I do not think of myself as a fast rider. I also pick my places to play. Try and take it easy in areas where people live in larger numbers and I also make a run on a road that I do not ride much and check it out before going bonkers. I really do not think that I would be any faster then n12r on equal terms.

I look forward to meeting and riding with all you guys.

That reminds me of the time I went across RR and had to get some hikers to help me push the bike across the top. The whole road was froze in ice and I just could not get anywhere.

It'll be a few more weeks till I get my heads back on my bike. But hopefully we can get in a ride on a good weatherday.

Plus in March there is a Buell meeting in Atl.
