well. as u may remember i was debating on dumpin tha cage life all together. but i went lookin last week and found a truck i just had to have. so as of last nite,i'm a proud owner of a 2006 toyota tacoma x-runner. it's so nice,i've never had a truck this bad . if u've never seen one,go to google images and look it up..i'll post some pics when i get a new cam.it's supercharged and is pushin a little over 300hp..this has to be confirmed on the dyno soon. anywho..i guess the new buell is gonna have to wait for a few more months..the x1 is just gonna have to do for now..laters..prez

Those new Tacomas look weird unless they are a 4x4. The Xrunner looks like a big truck that Toyota tried to make into a nice sport truck and it just didn't turn out right. My friend has a new 06 Tacoma 4x4. It is a nice truck but even it looks a little weird to me. I'm just not liking the new Tacoma body.

Well after all that I guess I could offer up some congratulations on the purchase.

Last winter I bought a TDT.
Still have it, does what I want it to, not as fancy as a Tacoma, but then again it is a '96 model.
A man needs a truck.

hey jeremyh..lift it??..u obviouslly dont have one in your town like mine that's lifted..that would look retarded with the ground effects..they're prolly trd 4x4 or the prerunners.. but hey..if they are the xrunners and they are lifted,to each their own i guess..lol..
and gschutte..i agree the new toyotas took a little to grow on me..but i hadnt ever seen the xrunner, and when i did,i liked it at first site..

and as far as the whole off road thrills..that's why i have my banshee, and my baja bug..so i'm not totally sellin out on the off road crew..
hell..i live in texas, and i had a guy in a lifted dodge give me a thumbs up today.. he even had the bull horns on the front of his truck..thought that was pretty cool..
and did i mention, the new truck matches the x1...red with black accents..

That is funny. Lifting a truck that comes lowered from the factory with ground effects.
