I met the local fire department today. House 5. Nice guys. My rear Pirelli was getting down to the wear bars, so I did some rolling burnouts, got it the tire flattened off. Pulled up to our service door and started burnin it out, shifted gears and kept it burnin'. I must say the Pirelli holds up very well, and the smoke off it, is very thick. I held it till it blew. Had most of the store watching and some customers that didnt know what to think. Well evidently the fire department got a few calls from people driving by that thought the building was on fire.  A fire truck pulls up and the Luitennant is the first on the scene....laughing! I couldn't believe it, I thought they would be pissed that they drove out for nothing. The other firefighters were all walking around the bike looking at the tire and the large pile of rubber laughing also. The Luitennant said that next time to give them a call so they can come out and watch! And be "fire control". HaHa! Of course, I didnt think to snap a picture of the fire truck until after they left. Dang it......well, there's always next time. | ||

That's a fire "engine" not a truck.Fire truck is the one with the 100' ladder.And I would have been laughing just as much. | ||

Oops. Fire engine. Everyone has been asking me what my stunt is going to be today. One asked if I was going to try to get the swat team out here. I think not. | ||

LOL. Kinda like tender and tanker. I always have to remind people that tankers have wings!!! I've rolled out many a times only to find people burning trash. I was the one that felt embarrassed  I would have preferred that it was a motorcycle. |
