So, I came across a good deal on a Wileyco can off the web and I have no information on them. More important to me I have no sound and performance information on them. I currently run an out of production BOSS pipe that I absolutely love, but with the modifications I am adding the bike (M2) I need a newer pipe to fit the theme. The old BOSS has been beat up. It is by far the loudest pipe I have heard on a Buell yet, all be it I have not actually heard the BUB twin or Force in person. I have heard several XB's with D&D and Jardine pipes and the BOSS always seemed to lets them know I am there.

SO any ideas on the Wileyco?

I run a WileyCo on my 2002 M2. THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THIS PIPE! The second one, which I now have, is great. It is not as loud as a D&D or a Force (which will be the loudest) but has a nice tone. The earlier version of this pipe has a weak front mount and will eventually break. The easiest way to tell if you are getting an old or new part is to look at the elbow. The old one is bolted on to the canister, the new one slips on. The new one also has the mounting piece on the elbow as a piece of metal that wraps completely around the pipe.

my early version Wileyco (CF) has lasted nicely for about 4 years and 30K miles . . . . I know others have had difficutlies with the early versions, but since I installed the updated, upsidedown Y mount and secured the lower run of the header to the engine, a la S2s, I believe, mine's be fine

like Koz sez, nice tone, but no where near the db of a boss, force, or the other "listen to me" cans out there -- I can easilt slip outa the neighborhood at oh-dark-thirty without waking the neighbors, but, once out in the toolies, the upper range of revs is very nice sounding indeed, to my ears

I just picked up an old style carbon fiber one for $75 on E-Bay. At that price I thought I would give it a shot. I'll update you after its mounted. Comes with a free t-shirt & hat also.

I also installed an "old" version when I purchased my X1 3 1/2 years ago. Absolutely no problems with it after 15,000 miles.
